Մեր երկրում խնդիրները սկսել են խորանալ այն ժամանակներից, երբ հանրությունը լայնորեն սկսել է չվստահել ընտրությունների արդյունքներին եւ ամեն անգամ ընտրությունների արդյունքներով իրեն խաբված է զգացել: Այս մասին, այսօր՝ մայիսի 25-ին, «Հայաստան» համահայկական հիմնադրամի հոգաբարձուների խորհրդի նիստի ժամանակ իր էլույթում նշել է ՀՀ վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը:

Նրա խոսքով, Հայաստանի մեծագույն քաղաքական խնդիրը եղել է քաղաքացիների կողմից իշխանություն ձեւավորելու իրավունքի անձեռնմխելիությունը. «Հետեւաբար, մեր խնդիրն է, որ սրանից հետո Հայաստանում տեղի ունեցած ցանկացած ընտրությունների արդյունքներով իրեն հաղթանակած զգա ոչ այնքան այս կամ այն քաղաքական ուժը, այլ ընտրությունների որեւէ արդյունքի պարագայում իրեն առաջին հերթին հաղթանակած զգա Հայաստանի Հանրապետության քաղաքացին:

Եվ ես ուզում եմ ընդգծել, որ մեր կառավարության համար հաջորդ կարեւոր առաջնահերթությունը պայքարն է կոռուպցիայի դեմ, սկսած ընտրական կոռուպցիայից եւ շարունակած պետական կառավարման, դատական կոռուպցիայով: Ուզում եմ ասել, որ մեր կառավարությունն արդեն իսկ կոնկրետ քայլեր է ձեռնարկել այս ուղղությամբ եւ ունի հաջողություններ: Այդ գործընթացը կշարունակվի այնքան ժամանակ, մինչեւ բոլորս համոզվենք, որ կոռուպցիան որպես համակարգային երեւույթ արմատախիլ ենք արել Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունում»,-ընդգծեց Փաշինյանը:
