Հայաստանի Ազգային ժողովի պաշտպանության և անվտանգության հարցերի մշտական հանձնաժողովը հետևողական մոտեցում է ցուցաբերում աղետների դիմակայության ամրապնդման հարցերին: Ազգային ժողովում «Աղետների դիմակայունության ամրապնդումը և զարգացումը» թեմայով խորհրդարանական լսումների ընթացքում այս մասին ասաց ՀՀ Ազգային ժողովի պաշտպանության և անվտանգության հարցերի մշտական հանձնաժողովի նախագահ Կորյուն Նահապետյանը: «Հանրահայտ է, որ Հայաստանը գտնվում է բնական և տեխնածին վտանգավոր երևույթների անմիջական սպառնալիքի ազդեցության ներքո, հետևաբար դիմակայության մշակույթի հաստատումը մեր երկրի առաջնահերթություններից է: Այսօրվա լսումների նպատակն է նպաստել դիմակայուն Հայաստանի կերտմանը, ինչպես նաև իրավական և իչնստիտուցիոնալ այնպիսի միջավայրի ձևավորմանը, որը խթան կհանդիսանա աղետների նկատմամբ առավել պատրաստված և կայուն լինելուն»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի փոխանցմամբ՝ ասաց Նահապետյանը:

Նրա խոսքով՝ այս տեսակետից պետք է հզորացնել և կատարելագործել աղետների ռիսկերի կառավարման բնագավառում երկխոսությունը և համագործակցությունը: «Լսումների ընթացքում ակնկալվում է ընդլայնել Ազգային ժողովի և գործընկերների համագործակցային կապերը, ձևավորել խորհրդարանական արդյունավետ հարթակ՝ Հայաստանում դիմակայունության մշակույթի ամրապնդման համար, նպաստել աղետների ռիսկերիկառավարման բնագավառում փորձի փոխանակմանը, կարողությունների զարգացմանը, աջակցել աղետների ռիսկերի կառավարման գործընթացում տեղական ինքնակառավարման մարմիններին, մասնավոր հատվածին, քաղաքացիական հասարակությանը և միջազգային գործընկերների միջև ակտիվ համագործակցությանը»,- ասաց Նահապետյանը:

Նա հավելեց, որ Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունը միջազգային հարթակում աղետների ռիսկերի կառավարման բնագավառում գրանցել է բավականին մեծ և տեսանելի արդյունքներ:
