ՀՀ ԱԺ նախագահ Արա Բաբլոյանը հուլիսի 2-ին ընդունել է Հայաստանում Ռուսաստանի նորանշանակ արտակարգ եւ լիազոր դեսպան Սերգեյ Կոպիրկինին:

Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ ԱԺ լրատվության և հանրային կապերի վարչությունից, ԱԺ նախագահը, շնորհավորելով դեսպանին առաքելության ստանձնման կապակցությամբ, հույս է հայտնել, որ նա իր գործունեությամբ կնպաստի հայ-ռուսական բարեկամական կապերի հետագա զարգացմանն ու  ամրապնդմանը:

Երկու երկրների դաշնակցային եւ ռազմավարական հարաբերություններում Արա Բաբլոյանը կարեւորել է խորհրդարանական դիվանագիտության դերը: Օրենսդիր մարմնի ղեկավարն անդրադարձել է միջազգային խորհրդարանական հարթակներում արդյունավետ համագործակցության շարունակականությանը:

ԱԺ նախագահը  նշել է, որ Հայաստանը կարող է դառնալ  կամուրջ  ԵԱՏՄ-ի եւ ԵՄ-ի միջեւ` նպաստելով  երկխոսությանը:

Սերգեյ Կոպիրկինը վստահեցրել է, որ կներդնի բոլոր ջանքերը  երկու ժողովուրդների դարավոր բարեկամության ամրապնդման, դաշնակցային հարաբերությունների  ընդլայնման ուղղությամբ:

Դեսպանը բարձր է գնահատել Արա Բաբլոյանի ներդրումը երկու երկրների հարաբերությունների զարգացման հարցում:

Զրուցակիցներն ընդգծել են Հայաստանի եւ Ռուսաստանի միջեւ կապերի դինամիկ զարգացումը բոլոր ոլորտներում,  արձանագրել  վերջին տարիների ձեռքբերումները: Այս համատեքստում  Արա Բաբլոյանը համոզմունք է հայտնել, որ այսուհետ եւս երկկողմ փոխգործակցությունը կշարունակի զարգանալ գործընկերության եւ վստահության մթնոլորտում:

Կողմերն անդրադարձել են նաեւ ՀՀ Ազգային ժողովի եւ ՌԴ Դաշնային ժողովի միջեւ համագործակցության միջխորհրդարանական հանձնաժողովի հաջորդ նիստին առնչվող հարցերին, մեր երկրում սպասվող արտահերթ խորհրդարանական ընտրությունների անցկացմանը, երկկողմ հետաքրքրություն ներկայացնող այլ թեմաների:
