Անձնուրաց բարությունը անպատասխան չի մնում, իսկ մենք մեզ կարողանում ենք երջանիկ զգալ այն մտքից, որ կարողացել ենք որևէ մեկին ժպիտ պարգևել: Այս պատմությունը մի քանի տարի է տարածում է գտել համացանցում, սակայն շարունակում է արդիական մնալ:
 
Այն շատերի համար բարիք գործելու իրական օրինակ է ծառայել, և խորը մարդասիրական նշանակություն ունի: Մի կին պատմել է, թե ինչպես սրճարանի հաճախորդները վճարել են սուրճի համար, որը չեն խմել, իսկ երբ ինքը պարզել է պատճառը, փոխել է կյանքի հանդեպ ունեցած հայացքները:
 
« Մենք ընկերոջս հետ եկանք սրճարան, պատվիրեցինք այն, ինչ ցանկանում ենք, իսկ երբ մոտենում էինք մեր սեղանին նկատեցինք, թե ինչպես սրճարան երկու հաճախորդ մտան: Նրանք պատվիրեցին երկու սուրճ իրենց համար և երեք` կանխավճարային: Նրանք վերցրեցին իրենց երկու սուրճը և հեռացան»:
 
Ես ընկերոջս հարցրեցի, թե ինչի համար էր այդ ամենը, իսկ նա պատասխանեց, որ ես շատ շուտով կիմանամ պատասխանը: Հաջորդ պատվերը իրավաբաններին էր, ովքեր 4 կանխավճարային սուրճ պատվիրեցին, իսկ ես դեռ չէի հասկացել այդ պատվերների իմաստը:
 
Հանկարծ սրճարան աղքատ հագուկապով տղամարդ մտավ, որը նման էր մուրացկանի: Նա մոտեցավ մատուցողին և կամաց հարցրեց.
 
-Ներեցե՛ք, կանխավճարային սուրճ ունե՞ք:
 
Ամեն բան ավելի պարզ էր, քան ես կարող էր պատկերացնել. մարդիկ նախապես վճարում էին այն մարդկանց փոխարեն, ովքեր չունեին հնարավորություն իրենց համար սուրճ գնելու:
 
Այս սովորույթը սկիզբ է առել Իտալիայից և տարածում է գտել աշխարհով մեկ: Նման փոքրիկ բարի արարքները կարող են մեծ նշանակություն ունենալ ինչ-որ մեկի համար:
