Շուրջ 1200 սկաուտ քայլերթով անցան Երևանի փողոցներով։ 11-րդ Համասկաուտական բանակումի մասնակիցները հուլիսի 21-ին Ազատության հրապարակից քայլերթով հասան Հանրապետության հրապարակ։ Քայլերթի նպատակը ողջ աշխարհին ցույց տալն էր, որ հայ երիտասարդները կարող են միավորվել հայրենիքում մեկ գաղափարի շուրջ։ Սկաուտներին ողջունելու էր եկել Սփյուռքի նախարար Մխիթար Հայրապետյանը։

 «2 օր առաջ ես Բյուրականում էի և ծանոթացա հարյուրավոր ՀՄԸՄ-ականների հետ։ Մեծագույն հպարտություն էի զգում յուրաքանչյուրի հետ շփվելիս՝ տեսնելով այդ լուսավոր դեմքերը։   Դուք, ապրելով Հայաստանից դուրս, բարձր պահելով ձեր հայկականությունը, բարձր եք պահում հայի ու Հայաստանի հեղինակությունը»,- նշեց Մխիթար Հայրապետյանը։

Երիտասարդներից շատերն առաջին անգամ են հայրենիքում։ Ամերիկահայ Զարեհ Շահինյանը Հայաստան է եկել վերջին ներքաղաքական իրադարձություններից շատ տպավորված։ 

«Ապրիլին Հայաստանում տեղի ունեցած իրադարձություններին հետևել եմ ու վստահ եմ, որ ամեն ինչ լավ է լինելու»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում նշեց Զարեհը։ 

Հալեպահայ Լևոն Ավչյանը երկրորդ անգամ է այցելում Հայաստան։ Նախորդ տարվա համեմատ արդեն հասցրել է փոփոխություններ նկատել։

«Շատ մեծ փոփոխություններ կան։ Հիմա մարդիկ ավելի ուրախ են։ Զբոսաշրջիկներն էլ ավելի ուրախ են զբոսնում Երևանում»,- նշեց Լևոնը։ 

ՀՄԸՄ-ի 100-ամյակին նվիրված բանակումի մասնակիցները Հանրապետության հրապարակից ուղևորվեցին Ծիծեռնակաբերդ՝ հարգանքի տուրք մատուցելու Հայոց ցեղասպանության զոհերի հիշատակին։

11-րդ Համասկաուտական բանակումը նվիրված է ՀՄԸՄ-ի 100-ամյակին: Բանակումի բացմանարարողությունը տեղի է ունեցել հուլիսի 20-ին Բյուրականում և տևելու է մինչև հուլիսի 29-ը: 11-րդ համասկաուտական բանակումին մասնակցելու համար Հայաստան են ժամանել շուրջ 1200 երիտասարդ ԱՄՆ-ից, Արգենտինայից, Ուրուգվայից, Բուլղարիայից, Եգիպտոսից, Լիբանանից, Ռուսաստանից, Ֆրանսիայից  և այլ երկրներից:
