Վերջին օրերին Երևանի ավագանու ընտրությանը մասնակցող կուսակցությունները հանդես են գալիս հայտարարություններով, թե ովքեր են գլխավորելու իրենց նախընտրական ցուցակը։ Բնականաբար, կարծիքները տարբեր են ինչպես հասարակության մեջ, այնպես էլ կուսակցության ներսում, բայց որոշումները կատարվում են մեծամասնության կարծիքը հաշվի առնելով։
Ինչպես գիտեք , երեկ՝ օգոստոսի 2-ին, քաղխորհրդի նիստից հետո ԲՀԿ խմբակցությունը հանդես եկավ հայտարարությամբ, որ Երևանի քաղաքապետի պաշտոնում առաջադրում է Նաիրա Զոհրաբյանի թեկնածությունը։ Նաիրա Զոհրաբյանի թեկնածությունը ընդունվեց ԲՀԿ քաղխորհրդի կողմից միաձայն, բաց և հրապարակային քվեարկության արդունքում: 
Երեկոյան ԲՀԿ խմբակցության պատգամավոր Գևորգ Պետրոսյանն իր ֆեյսբուքյան էջում արտահայտեց անձնական կարծիք, որ քաղաքապետի պաշտոնում Նաիրա Զոհրաբյանին իր կողմից պատկերացնելը դժվար է։ Մի կողմից գովել է,որ ԲՀԿ-ում կա ներքին ժողովրդավարություն և պատգամավորը ինչպես ցանկացած մարդ կարծիք արտահայտելու իրավունքը ունի, բայց արի ու տես որ մեր հանրապետությունում մարդու անձնական կարծիքը կարող է դառնալ շարք ԶԼՄ-ների երևակայության խթանը, ովքեր այս գռարման տակ փորձեցին ԲՀԿ կուսակցության պառակտման ենթատեքստ տեսնել։
Երկրորդ էլ ավելի մտահոգիչ հանգամանքը էստեղ այն է,որ Գևորգ Պետրոսյանը պարզապես աընդունելի է համարում քաղաքական խորհրդի կողմից ընդունված մեծամասնության որոշումը, ինչից հետո մեկ պարզ հարց է առաջանում թե ինչպես է պատկերացնում այս ամենից հետո այդ թիմի հետ իր հետագա աշխատանքը։հասկանալի է,որ խնդիրը անձի շուրջ է, բայց եթե այդ անձի թեկնածության մասին բարձրաձայնում է թիմի գերակշիռ մասը,այ էստեղ Գևորգ Պետրոսյանը մտածելու բան ունի։
