ՀԱՕԿ նախագահ Գագիկ Ծառուկյանն ընդունել է բռնցքամարտի ֆեդերացիայի ներկայացուցիչներին, որոնք իրենց բողոքն են հայտնել օգոստոսի 4-ին ֆեդերացիայի նախագահի ընտրության վերաբերյալ: Ֆեդերացիայի ներկայացուցիչները ՀԱՕԿ նախագահի հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ բարձրաձայնել են նաև տարբեր խնդիրների մասին, որոնք առկա են բռնցքամարտի ոլորտում, որպես հիմնականը նշելով այն, որ օգոստոի 4-ին ֆեդերացիայի նախագահի ընտրությունն անցկացվել է բազմաթիվ խախտումներով: 
ֆեդերացիայի ներկայացուցիչները Ծառուկյանին տեղեկացրել են, որ Ֆեդերացիայի նախագահի թեկնածուներից մեկին ընտրությունների մասին տեղեկացրել են ընդամենը 2 օր առաջ ու դրա պատճառով նա ուղղակի ֆիզիկապես չի կարողացել մասնակցել այդ ընտրություններին: Մարզերից մեկը՝ Կոտայքը, ընդհանրապես ընտրական մանդատ չի ստացել: Բացի այդ բոլոր մանդատները իրենց մեջ պարունակել են ընտրություններին մասնակցողների անունները, ինչը լուրջ խախտում է, քանի որ մանդատների մեջ ոչ մեկ իրավունք չունի անուն գրել: Ընտրությունները անցել են բաց քվեարկությամբ, ինչը նույնպես խախտում է, քանի որ քվեարկությունը պետք է անցկացվեր փակ ընթացակարգով: 
Որոշ մարզիկներ ևս իրենց բողոքները ներկայացրեցին, նշելով, որ ֆեդերացիայում եղել են բազմաթիվ կողմնապահության դեպքեր, երբ Հայաստանում մրցումները հաղթել ենք իրենք, բայց միջազգային մրցաշարերին իրենց փոխարեն ուրիշ մարդիկ են գնացել: 
«Այսօր Օլիմպիական կոմիտեն նոր ֆեդերացիա բացելու իրավունք ունի: Ֆեդերացիայի հաստատողը Օլիմպիական կոմիտեն է»: Այս խոսքերը ասելուց հետո ՀԱՕԿ նախագահ Գագիկ Ծառուկյանը խնդրեց իրեն 1 շաբաթ ժամանակ տալ իրավիճակը ուսումնասիրելու, ընտրությունների ամբողջ գործընթացը վերանայելու, նոր ֆեդերացիա կազմավորելու և այն օրինական ճանաչելու համար, ինչից հետո կանցկացվեն Ֆեդերացիայի նախագահի նոր արդար ընտրություններ, որին կմասնակցեն բոլորը: Գագիկ Ծառուկյանը, խոսք տալով որ հարցը արագորեն կլուծվի, ավելացրեց. «Ես այս ամեն ինչին օրինական ընթացք կտամ: Մեկ շաբաթվա ընթացքում ամեն ինչ օրինական դաշտ կտեղափոխվի»:
