Բռնցքամարտի ֆեդերացիայի նախագահի ոչ կանոնադրային ընթացակարգով կայացած ընտրության վերաբերյալ, ՀԱՕԿ նախագահին մարզիչների հայտնած դժգոհությունն արդեն իսկ փաստացի հիմնավորում է ստանում: Թե Սպորտի և երիտասարդության հարցերի նախարար Լևոն Վահրադյանը, թե բռնցքամարտի կանանց նախկին գլխավոր մարզիչ Ռաֆայել Մեհրաբյանը, լրագրողների հետ զրույցի ժամանակ մանրամասնել են, թե ինչ խախտումներ են իրականում տեղի ունեցել ֆեդերացիայի նախագահի ընտրության ժամանակ:

 

Վահրադյանի խոսքերով քվարկությանը մասնակցելու համար ֆեդերացիայի անդամների մանդատները տրվել են ոչ կանոնադրային ճանապարհով: Իրականում ֆեդերացիան պարտավոր էր նամակներ ուղարկել սպորտդպրոցներին և նշել, թե քանի հոգի է հարկավոր ընտրությանը մասնակցելու համար: Սակայն, այս անգամ նամակը անվանական են ուղարկել, այսինքն նշված են եղել կոնկրետ անձանց անուններ, ովքեր կքվերակեին այնպես, ինչպես հարկավոր էր կազմակերպիչներին: Բացի այդ, քվեարկությունը կայացել է բաց, մինչդեռ ըստ կանոնադրության, այն պետք է անցկացվեր փակ: Մեհրաբյանն էլ, ով իր ուրույն ներդրումն ունի հայկական բռնցքամարտի զարգացման մեջ, շեշտում է, որ քվեարկության համար հավաքվածներից 70%-ին նա չի ճանաչել, ինչ-որ պատահական մարդիկ են եղել:
Բազմաթիվ խախտումները հաշվի առնելով, Սպորտի և երիտասարդության նախարարությունը դիմել է նաև բռնցքամարտի միջազգային ֆեդերացիային խնդրին օբյեկտիվ լուծում գտնելու համար: Դիմումին արձագանքել է ԱԻԲԱ-ն և խոստացել, որ հանձնաժողով կուղարկի, ովքեր կուսումնասիրեն ստեղծված իրավիճակն ու հարկ եղած դեպքում կանցկացվեն նոր ընտրությունները:
Կարծում ենք օբյեկտիվ տեսանկյունից ԱԻԲԱ-ն ուղղակի պարտավոր է առկա խախտումները հաշվի առնելով անվավեր համարել նախկին ընտրություններն ու չընդունել «ընտրված» ֆեդերացիայի նախագահին, հակառակ դեպքում ֆեդերացիայի ներսում ծագած տարաձայնություններն ու անօրինականությունները կխոչընդոտեն հայկական բռնցքամարտի զարգացմանը: 
Բազմաթիվ ականավոր մարզիչների դժգոհության ալիքն արդեն իսկ խոսուն փաստ է այն մասին, որ նորընտիր նախագահը ընդունելի չէ բռնցքամարտի աշխարհի ներկայացուցիչների կողմից, իսկ դա արդեն իսկ հիմք է տալիս ասելու, որ ֆեդերացիայի նախագահի նոր ընտրությունները սարերի հետևում չեն:
