 Հայաստանի Հանրապետության ազգային անվտանգության ծառայությունը թմրամիջոցների ապօրինի շրջանառության և մաքսանենգության դեմ պայքարին ուղղված իր գործառույթների իրականացման շրջանակներում բացահայտել և չեզոքացրել է առանձնապես խոշոր չափերով թմրամիջոցների մաքսանենգությամբ զբաղվող հանցավոր խումբ:

Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին Հայաստանի Հանրապետության Ազգային անվտանգության ծառայության մամուլի կենտրոնից, մասնավորապես, ԱԱԾ աշխատակիցների կողմից իրականացված օպերատիվ-հետախուզական միջոցառումների և քննչական գործողությունների արդյունքում 2018 թվականի օգոստոսի 13-ին բացահայտվել է անդրազգային հանցավոր խումբ, որի անդամները փորձել են ԻԻՀ-ից մաքսանենգ ճանապարհով առանձնապես խոշոր չափերով թմրամիջոց տեղափոխել Վրաստան՝ Հայաստանն օգտագործելով որպես տարանցիկ երկիր:

ՀՀ ԱԱԾ օպերատիվ ստորաբաժանումների կողմից իրականացված համալիր օպերատիվ-հետախուզական միջոցառումների արդյունքում ստացված տվյալներով պարզվել է, որ Իրանի Իսլամական Հանրապետության քաղաքացի Մ. Ի.-ին ԻԻՀ-ում ձեռք է բերել առանձնապես խոշոր չափերով շուրջ 8 կիլոգրամ հերոին տեսակի թմրամիջոց, ապա, շրջանցելով հայ-իրանական անցակետը, ապօրինի մուտք է գործել ՀՀ տարածք: Գտնվելով ՀՀ ԱԱԾ աշխատակիցների օպերատիվ հսկողության ներքո, Մ. Ի-ին թմրամիջոցների փաթեթները փոխադրել է Երևան քաղաքի ուղղությամբ, որի մատույցներում և բռնվել է վերջիններիս կողմից:

Շարունակելով անհետաձգելի օպերատիվ-հետախուզական միջոցառումները ԱԱԾ աշխատակիցներին հաջողվել է պարզել նաև թմրամիջոցների պատվիրատու հանդիսացող երկու անձանց՝ ՀՀ քաղաքացի Ն. Խ-ին և Վրաստանի քաղաքացի Ջ. Կ-ին, ովքեր բացահայտվել ու բռնվել են օպերատիվ հսկողության ներքո թմրամիջոցը իրենց փոխանցելու պահին: Վերջիններս պատրաստվում էին թմրամիջոցը տեղափոխել Վրաստան և իրացնել:

Դեպքի առթիվ ՀՀ ԱԱԾ քննչական վարչության կողմից հարուցված քրեական գործի շրջանակներում Մ. Ի-ն, Ն. Խ-ն և Ջ. Կ-ն ձերբակալվել են: Նախաքննությունը շարունակվում է:
