ՀՀ նախագահ Արմեն Սարգսյանը շնորհավորական ուղերձ է հղել Հայաստանի Անկախության տոնի առթիվ: Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ նախագահի գրասենյակից, ուղերձում ասվում է.

«Հայաստանի Հանրապետության հարգելի՛ քաղաքացիներ,

Սիրելի՛ հայրենակիցներ,

1991 թվականի այս օրը մենք հրապարակավ ձեւակերպեցինք ձայնի մեր իրավունքը: Այսօր որպես անկախ պետություն, մենք վստահորեն խոսում ենք Իրավունքի ձայնով: 

Մենք ապացուցեցինք, որ երազանքը կարող է իրականություն դառնալ: Այսօր ունենք նոր ձգտումներ, որոնք ծնվում են ամեն օր, յուրաքանչյուրիս մեջ: Պետք է մեզ պատրաստ եւ ունակ զգանք դրանք իրականություն դարձնել Նոր Հայաստանում: Այսօրվա Հայաստանի առաջին ընկալումը պետք լինի այն, որ այն մի նոր միջավայր է, որը պետք է ձեւավորվի յուրաքանչյուրիս կողմից։
Մեզ պարտավորեցնում են այն մարդկանց հիշատակները, ովքեր իրենց զոհաբերեցին հանուն անկախության, ովքեր մոտեցրին այն, բայց չհասցրին տեսնել: Մենք պարտք ունենք նրանց առաջ: 

Մեր պատմության դասերից մեկն այն է, որ մենք հաղթանակների հասել ենք, երբ միասնական ենք եղել։ 

Նոր Հայաստանը պետք է լինի հաղթանակների Հայաստան։ 

Սիրելի՛ հայրենակիցներ,

Հպարտանալով անցյալով կամ նախկինում ունեցած ձեռքբերումներով՝ մենք պետք է ավելի մեծ ոգեւորությամբ ու ստեղծագործաբար մոտենանք ապագային: 

Մեր միտքը եւ կարողությունները պետք է առաջ ընկնեն զգացմունքներից ու մեր երկիրը դարձնեն աշխարհի ընթացքին ավելի համահունչ: Ժամանակը մեզ անընդհատ մղում է առաջ՝ հասկացնելով, որ որպես պետություն, որպես ժողովուրդ ուշանալու իրավունք չունենք: Մենք պետք է շարժվենք առաջընթացի ճանապարհով՝ Սահմանադրության նկատմամբ անվերապահ հարգանքի, հանրության, քաղաքացիական հասարակության ինստիտուտների եւ իշխանության բոլոր ճյուղերի կողմից պետության հանդեպ մեծ պատասխանատվության գիտակցումով:

Որպես Հայաստան-Արցախ-Սփյուռք, մենք մեկ ամբողջություն ենք համաշխարհային միջավայրում: 

Ուրեմն՝ ունենք շատ ավելի մեծ ներուժ եւ հնարավորություն, քան պատկերացնում ենք: 

Դարձնենք այդ բոլորը մեր հետագա հաղթանակների շարժիչ ուժը, դարձնենք բոլորս միասին՝ Հայաստանի բոլոր քաղաքացիներով, աշխարհասփյուռ հայությամբ, համահայկականությամբ: 

Սիրելի՛ հայրենակիցներ, 

Մեր ընտանիքներում սովոր ենք ընտանեկան տոները նշել միասին եւ միասնական։ Մեր ազգային տոնը մեր մեծ հայկական ընտանիքի տոնն է, այսօրվա Հայաստանի Հանրապետության ծննդյան օրը, մեր մեծի ու փոքրի, զինվորի եւ աշխատավորի, մտավորականի եւ ուսանողի, բոլորիս տոնը։ 

Շնորհավորում եմ բոլորիս համազգային եւ համապետական տոնի՝ Հայաստանի Անկախության օրվա առթիվ: Մաղթում եմ խաղաղություն, բարեկեցություն, երջանկություն եւ լավատեսություն»:
