Հանրապետության հրապարակում տեղի ունեցող միջոցառումների շարքում քաղաքացիներին հետաքրքրեց հատկապես «Սելֆիի ժամը» միջոցառումը, որի շրջանակներում նրանք և հանրապետության հյուրերը հնարավորություն ունեն հանդիպելու և ինքնանկար անելու հայտնի մարդկանց հետ։
 
Հանրապետության հրապարակում էր նաև ՀՀ կրթության և գիտության նախարար Արայիկ Հարությունյանը, ով նշեց, որ այս տարի Անկախության տոնը վերարժևորվել է։
 
«Հստակ ֆիքսեցի, որ նախորդ տարիների համեմատ ժողովուրդը ավելի լավ է նշում Անկախության տոնը։ Ավելի ուրախ մթնոլորտ է, ժպիտներն ավեի շատ են։ Ես նախորդ տարիներին ևս մշտապես հետևել եմ և սեպտեմբերի 21-ին գրառումներ եմ արել՝ ասելով, որ այս տոնը լավ չենք նշում։ Իրականում սա ամենանվիրական և կարևոր տոնն է, որ կարող է պետությունն ունենալ։ Պետք է առավելագույնն անենք, թե՛ այս տոնը արժևորելու և թե՛ անկախությունն ամրապնդելու համար»,- կարևորեց Արայիկ Հարությունյանը։
 
ՀՀ կրթության և գիտության նախարարն ասաց նաև, որ այս տարի անձամբ իր համար ևս Անկախության օրը տարբերվում է նախորդ տարիների համեմատ։
 
«Ինձ համար այս տարվա Անկախության օրը շատ տարբեր է։ Ապրիլ-մայիսին տեղի ունեցած իրադարձությունները և այն մեծ վերափոխումները, որոնք այսօր կան Հայաստանում, էլ ավելի են արժևորում Անկախության տոնը, որովհետև ֆիքսում ենք՝մենք անկախության մի այլ աստիճանի ենք բարձրացել։ Կարծում եմ, որ թե՛ կառավարությունը և թե՛ յուրաքանչյուր քաղաքացի պետք է անի առավելագույնը այդ աստիճանը չնվազեցնելու համար»,- կարևորեց նախարարը։
