Չնայած ներքաղաքական կյանքում տեղի ունեցող արմատական փոփոխություններին, Հայաստանի արտաքին քաղաքականության օրակարգում չկան կտրուկ շրջադարձեր: Ւնչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, այս մասին ասել է ՀՀ վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը՝ ելույթ ունենալով ՄԱԿ-ի Գլխավոր ասամբլեայի 73-րդ նստաշրջանին: «Հայաստանի արտաքին քաղաքականության շարունակականությունը վկայում է այն մասին, որ Հայաստանը կանխատեսելի և հուսալի գործընկեր է: Մեր միջազգային պարտավորությունները ենթակա չեն վերանայման: Մեր դիրքորոշումը հստակ է. Հայաստանը պատրաստ է կառուցողական երկխոսության և համագործակցության բոլոր գործընկերների հետ: Մենք մտադիր չենք զարգացնել մեր հարաբերությունները մեկ գործընկերոջ հետ՝ մյուսի հաշվին: Մենք կարևորում ենք բազմակողմանիության դերը գլոբալ և տարածաշրջանային մակարդակներում»,- հայտարարել է Փաշինյանը:

ՀՀ վարչապետը նշել է, որ Միավորված ազգերի կազմակերպության հովանու ներքո Հայաստանը ներգրավված է համապարփակ և կենսունակ համագործակցության ծրագրերում: «Թույլ տվեք առանց մանրամասնելու հիշատակել մեր մասնակցությունը ՄԱԿ-ի հովանու ներքո իրականացվող խաղաղության գործողություններին, որոնց աշխարհագրությունն ավելի քան տպավորիչ է՝ Աֆղանստանից Լիբանան, Կոսովո, Մալի և այլն: Սա առանձնահատուկ նշանակություն ունի մեր երկրի համար, որն ինքն ունի անվտանգության հետ կապված լուրջ մտահոգություններ: Մենք գիտակցում ենք, որ մեկ երկրի անվտանգությունը սերտորեն առնչվում է մյուս երկրների անվտանգության հետ, և որ գլոբալ խաղաղությունը պահանջում է համաձայնեցված գործողություններ: Մենք իսկապես համաշխարհային ազգ ենք, հարյուրավոր աշխարհասփյուռ համայնքներով հանդերձ: Այստեղից էլ բխում է Հայաստանի մտահոգությունը համամոլորակային սպառնալիքների առնչությամբ, որոնք կարող են վտանգի ենթարկել մեր հայրենակիցներին աշխարհի տարբեր անկյուններում»,- ընդգծել է վարչապետ Փաշինյանը:

Վարչապետը հավելել է, որ սիրիական ճգնաժամի պատճառով այսօր վտանգված է մեծաթիվ սիրիահայ համայնքի գոյությունն ընդհանրապես: «Հայաստանը փորձում է սատարել ճգնաժամային տարածաշրջաններին մարդասիրական օգնության միջոցով: Մենք պատրաստ ենք ընդարձակել Հայաստանի մարդասիրական առաքելությունը՝ ուղղված Սիրիայի մեր համայնքի հրատապ կարիքների բավարարմանը: Որպես ցեղասպանության սարսափներ վերապրած ազգ, հայերն առավել զգայուն են իրենց մերձավորների անվտանգության հարցում և պատրաստ են ամեն ինչ անել նրանց պաշտպանելու համար»,- ընդգծել է Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը:
