 ԱՄՆ-ի նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփն այլեւս չի դիտարկում իր նախկին խորհրդական Դինա Փաուելի թեկնածությունը ՄԱԿ-ին առընթեր ԱՄՆ-ի մշտական ներկայացուցչի պաշտոնում: Այդ մասին հոկտեմբերի 11-ին հայտնել Է Reuters գործակալությունը՝ վկայակոչելով ԱՄՆ-ի վարչակազմի մի աղբյուր:

Գործակալության տվյալներով՝ թիմ Փաուելի վերադառնալու հնարավորությունը դիմադրության Է հանդիպել Սպիտակ տան վարչակազմում: Թրամփի նման որոշման պատճառները հայտնի չեն: Թրամփը նախօրյակին հայտարարել Է, որ Նիկի Հեյլիի արժանի փոխարինող կգտնի ՄԱԿ-ին առընթեր ԱՄՆ-ի մշտական ներկայացուցչի պաշտոնում: «Նրան փոխարինելու կգա ֆանտաստիկ, հիրավի առաջնակարգ մեկը»,- ասել Է նա Fox News հեռուստաալիքին տված հարցազրույցում:

Ավելի վաղ Թրամփը նշել Էր, որ ներկայում ինքը հինգ թեկնածություն Է դիտարկում: Նախագահը չԷր հրապարակել նրանց անունները, բայց ասել Էր, որ նրանց թվում Է իր նախկին խորհրդական Դինա Փաուելը: «Դինային այդ պաշտոնը դուր կգա»,- նշել Էր նա:

Թրամփը նաեւ ընդգծել Է, որ Գերմանիայում ԱՄՆ-ի դեսպան Ռիչարդ Գրենելը չի մտնում այդ ցուցակի մեջ, սակայն ինքը պատրաստ Է քննարկել նրա թեկնածությունը: Ավելի վաղ Դոնալդ Թրամփի դուստրը՝ Իվանկան, հերքել Է ՄԱԿ-ին առընթեր ԱՄՆ-ի մշտական ներկայացուցչի պաշտոնում իր հնարավոր նշանակման վերաբերյալ լուրերը: Համապատասխան հայտարարությունը նա արել Է այն բանից հետո, երբ Թրամփը հայտարարեց, որ հարմար Է համարում իր դստեր թեկնածությունը մշտական ներկայացուցչի պաշտոնի համար, բայց զգուշանում Է, որ նրա նշանակման դեպքում իրեն կմեղադրեն խնամիության մեջ:

Նիկի Հեյլին, որը ՄԱԿ-ին առընթեր ԱՄՆ-ի մշտական ներկայացուցչի պաշտոնն զբաղեցնում Է 2017 թվականի հունվարից, հոկտեմբերի 9-ին հայտարարել Է իր պաշտոնաթողության մասին: Նա պաշտոնը կթողնի եկող տարվա հունվարին: Հեյլին այդ պաշտոնում հաստատվել Էր այն բանից ընդամենը չորս օր անց, երբ Թրամփը 2017 թվականի հունվարի 20-ին ստանձնեց նախագահի պաշտոնը: Հեյլին ինքը Սպիտակ տանը կայացած մամուլի ասուլիսի ընթացքում հայտարարել Է, որ պաշտոնաթող Է լինում ոչ անձնական պատճառներով: Իր հետագա պլանների վերաբերյալ նա չի հայտնել, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
