Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանն ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփի հետ հեռախոսազրույցի ընթացքում քննարկել է նաև Սիրիայի հյուսիսում գործող քրդական զինված ջոկատների թեման՝ անընդունելի համարելով ԱՄՆ կողմից նրանց ցուցաբերվող աջակցությունը, գրում է թուրքական «Հյուրրիյեթ» պարբերականը:

Էրդողանի խոսնակ Իբրահիմ Քալընը լրատվամիջոցների հետ հանդիպման ընթացքում նշել է, որ Թուրքիայի նախագահը խոսել է նաև սիրիական Մանբիջի շուրջ և նկատել, որ դրա հետ կապված համատեղ գործողությունների թուրք-ամերիկյան ծրագրի կյանքի կոչումը շատ է ուշանում:

Օրերս Թուրքիայի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Մևլութ Չավուշօղլուն հայտարարել է, որ սիրիական Մանբիջում իրավիճակի կարգավորման վերաբերյալ ԱՄՆ-ի հետ ձևավորած ու հաստատած «ճանապարհային քարտեզն» իր նպատակին չի ծառայել, և նախապես համաձայնեցված գործողությունների իրականացումը խիստ ուշանում է:

«Եթե Եփրատի արևելքում անհրաժեշտ քայլեր չձեռնարկվեն՝ մենք կդիմենք անհրաժեշտ քայլերի: Կա՛մ դուք մաքրեք Մանբիջը, կա՛մ դա կանենք մենք»,- ասել էր Չավուշօղլուն՝ դիմելով ԱՄՆ-ին:

Հիշեցնենք, որ սիրիական Մանբիջում համատեղ գործողությունների ծրագրի շուրջ աշխատող թուրք-ամերիկյան աշխատանքային խումբը վերջնական համաձայնության էր եկել «ճանապարհային քարտեզի» վերաբերյալ ու համաձայնել համապատասխան փաստաթուղթն ուղղել երկու երկրների պետական բարձր մարմիններին։

Թեմայի շուրջ պայմանավորվածություն էր ձեռք բերվել նաև Թուրքիայի ԱԳ նախարար Մևլութ Չավուշօղլուի ու ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղար Մայք Պոմպեոյի միջև:

Ըստ նախնական պայմանավորվածության՝ քուրդ զինյալները պետք է լքեին Մանբիջի իրենց դիրքերը, ինչից հետո տեղի անվտանգությունը կապահովվեր թուրքական ու ամերիկյան ուժերի համատեղ ջանքերով:
