Ուկրաինայի գլխավոր դատախազությունը մտադիր է հարցաքննել Ուկրաինայի ներքին գործերի նախարար Արսեն Ավակովին՝ երկրի նախկին նախագահ Վիկտոր Յանուկովիչի դեմ 2014-ին իրականացված հնարավոր մահափորձի մասին գործի շրջանակներում:

Այս մասին հայտնում է Интерфакс գործակալությունը՝ վկայակոչելով Գլխավոր դատախազության հատուկ հետաքննությունների վարչության պետին: Վերջինս չի հայտնել Ավակովին հարցաքննության կանչելու ամսաթիվը:

Յանուկովիչը, նրա պաշտպանությունը և մի շարք վկաներ պետական դավաճանության շուրջ դատական գործընթացում հայտարարել են 2014-ի փետրվարին նախագահի դեմ նախապատրաստվող մահափորձի մասին: Յանուկովիչի նախկին թիկնապահներից մեկը հայտնել է, որ փետրվարի 22-ին նախկին նախագահը մտադիր էր մեկնել Խարկով՝ մասնակցելու պատգամավորների համագումարին, սակայն անվտանգության ծառայությունը չեղարկել է այդ ուղևորությունը՝ պայմանավորված նախապատրաստվող մահափորձի մասին տեղեկության առկայությամբ:
