Մինչ 2008 թվականին Սփյուռքի նախարարության ստեղծումը, սփյուռքահայերը չգիտեին՝ Հայաստանում ում կարող էին դիմել իրենց խնդիրների լուծման համար, իսկ նախարարության ստեղծումից հետո այդ խնդիրն առնվազն մասնակի լուծվեց։ Այս մասին այսօր լրագրողներին հայտնեց Սփյուռքի նախարարության օպտիմալացման դեմ բողոքողներից մեկը։

Սիրիահայերը, իրաքահայերն ու այլ անձինք առավոտից հավաքվել են իրենց նախարարության դիմաց ու պահանջում են կասեցնել իրենց նախարարությունը փակելու գործընթացը։

«Առանձին ստորաբաժանմամբ հնարավոր չէ։ Ո՞ր նախարարությունը պիտի լինի դա։ Եթե Արտգործնախարարությունում է, մենք բոլոր երկրներու մեջ դիվանագիտական կապեր չունենք, հաստատություններ չունենք, բայց Սփյուռքի նախարարությունը բոլոր համայնքներուն հետը, բոլոր կառույցներուն, բոլոր հայկական կազմակերպություններուն հետը արդեն կապեր հաստատած է, իրեն մեծ ներդրումն ունեցած է»,- ասաց ցուցարարը։
