«Հրապարակ» թերթը գրում է. «Եթե Աշոտ Արսենյանը՝ «Ջերմուկ գրուպ» ՓԲԸ հիմնադիր նախագահը, մինչեւ արտահերթ ընտրությունները Փաշինյանի «դաշնակիցն» էր, ու Վայոց ձորի մարզ կատարած այցի ժամանակ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն անգամ հյուրընկալվեց Արսենյանի կրտսեր որդու՝ Վահագնի «անասնաֆերմայում», ապա ընտրություններից հետո Փաշինյանի իշխանության թիրախում է հայտնվել նաեւ Արսենյանի որդին՝ նույն Վահագնը։ Ինչպես հայտնի է, Արսենյանի երկու որդիներն էլ ազատվել են պարտադիր զինծառայությունից, ավագ որդին՝ Արսեն Արսենյանը, ուսումնառության ընթացքում ամուսնացել է եւ զինծառայությունից ազատվել է ընտանեկան տարկետման՝ երկու երեխա ունենալու հիմքով։ Իսկ կրտսեր որդի Վահագն Արսենյանը՝ առողջական, որոշ տեղեկություններով՝ տեսողության հետ կապված հիմքով։ Մեր տեղեկություններով, վերջերս, ի թիվս շատերի, վերաբացվել է նաեւ Արսենյանի որդու ազատման գործը, Արսենյանն էլ, հասկանալով որդու գլխին գալիքը, նրան տեղափոխել է Ռուսաստան։ Օրերս տեղեկացանք, որ որդու «խաթեր» գործարարը մի ամբողջ գերդաստանի համար տոմս է գնել, որ մեկնեն, եւ ամանորյա տոները որդին մենակ չանցկացնի ցուրտ ռուսաստաններում։ Հիշեցնենք, որ Արսենյանն առաջիններից էր, որ հեռացավ ՀՀԿ-ից ու պաշտպանեց հեղափոխությունը»:
