Հաշմանդամություն ունեցող անձանց հիմնահարցերով զբաղվող քաղաքային հանձնաժողովի տարեվերջյան նիստին ամփոփվեցին 2018թ. իրականացված ծրագրերն ու առանձնացվեցին հիմնախնդիրները: Երևանի քաղաքապետի առաջին տեղակալ, հանձնաժողովի նախագահ Հրաչյա Սարգսյանը, ծանոթանալով ներկայացված հաշվետվություններին, նկատեց, որ այսուհետ դրանք պետք է կազմվեն այլ ձևաչափով՝ ընդգրկելով ոչ միայն տարվա ձեռքբերումները, այլև խնդիրները, թերություններն ու չկատարված աշխատանքը: Քաղաքապետի առաջին տեղակալը նաև նշեց, որ հաշվետվություններն այսուհետ պետք է կազմվեն այնպես, որ դրանց կատարողականները լինեն չափելի և հնարավոր լինի գնահատել արդյունքները: «Ներկայացված հաշվետվություններն ու բարձրաձայնված խնդիրները հիմք կհանդիսանան, որպեսզի 2019 թվականի ծրագրերն իրականացվեն առավել արդյունավետ, քանի որ օրեր առաջ, ծանոթանալով նոր կառուցված Դավթաշեն-Աշտարակ ճանապարհահատվածին, արձանագրեցինք, որ ինչպես հենաշարժողական խնդիրներ ունեցող անձանց, այնպես էլ, օրինակ, սայլակով իրենց երեխաներին տեղափոխող մայրերի համար կառուցված թեքահարթակները չափորոշիչներին չեն համապատասխանում: Սա նշանակում է, որ պետք է խիստ հետևողական լինենք և ուսումնասիրենք կառուցված ու կառուցվող թեքահարթակները»,- ընդգծեց Հրաչյա Սարգսյանը: Մայրաքաղաքը և հատկապես կրթական հաստատությունները հաշմանդամություն ունեցող անձանց հարմարեցնելու առնչությամբ Հրաչյա Սարգսյանը հանձնարարեց 30 մանկապարտեզում նախատեսվող վերանորոգման աշխատանքներում հատուկ ուշադրություն դարձնել թեքահարթակների, նաև սանհանգույցների հարմարեցմանը: Խոսելով 2018 թվականի աշխատանքների մասին՝ նա նշվեց, որ անցնող տարի սոցիալական աջակցության ծրագրերում առաջնահերթության կարգով ընդգրկվել է 6750 ընտանիք: Ներառական կրթություն իրականացնող (և ոչ միայն) 64 դպրոցների ուսուցիչներ վերապատրաստվել են: Անդրադառնալով հաշմանդամություն ունեցող անձանց համար առողջապահական ուղեգրեր տրամադրելու գործընթացին, որն, ի դեպ, մայիսից կասեցված է՝ նշվեց, որ դրանք առողջապահության նախարարությունը գնահատել է ոչ նպատակային: Միաժամանակ քաղաքապետարանը նախատեսում է առողջապահական այլ նախաձեռնություններ:
