2018-ին Արցախի պաշտպանության բանակը շարունակել է պատվով կատարել իր գլխավոր առաքելությունը՝ հնարավորություն ընձեռելով հարազատ ժողովրդի խաղաղ ու անվտանգ կենսագործունեության համար: Այս մասին «Արցախպրեսի» հետ զրույցում ասել է ԱՀ պաշտպանության նախարար, պաշտպանության բանակի հրամանատար, գեներալ-մայոր Կարեն Աբրահամյանը՝ նշելով, որ դրան զուգահեռ կատարելագործվել են բանակի անձնակազմի ռազմավարական հմտություններն, ու թարմացվել է զինանոցը:

«Անցնող տարվա ընթացքում ամենօրյա ուշադրության կենտրոնում են եղել առաջնային գծի ամրապնդման հարցերը: Հսկայածավալ աշխատանքներ են տարվել առաջնային գծի կահավորման, դիրքապահ անձնակազմի համար ավելի անվտանգ պայմանների ստեղծման, տեսադիտարկման համակարգերի ներդրման, նոր, այլընտրանքային ու ապահով ճանապարհների կառուցման ուղղություններով: Մեծ ուշադրություն է դարձվել անձնակազմի մարտավարամասնագիտական ունակությունների բարձրացմանը: Այդ նպատակով անց են կացվել բազմաթիվ տեսական ու գործնական պարապմունքներ, տարբեր տիպի զորավարժություններ: Տարբեր օղակների հրամանատարներ ներգրավվել են փորձի փոխանակման միջոցառումներում: Բանակի ղեկավարության հատուկ ուշադրության կենտրոնում են եղել զինծառայողների բարոյահոգեբանական ոլորտի ամրապնդմանն ուղղված աշխատանքները: Շարունակվել են բարելավվել սոցիալ-կենցաղային պայմանները, ինչի արդյունքում բազում զինծառայողներ ապահովվել են բնակարանով, օգտվել տարաբնույթ սոցիալական ծրագրերից, ինչը շարունակական է լինելու նաև 2019թ.»,- ասել է Կ. Աբրահամյանը:

Պաշտպանության նախարարի խոսքով՝ ներկայումս արցախա-ադրբեջանական հակամարտ զորքերի շփման գոտում տիրող իրադրությունը կարելի է համարել հարաբերական կայուն:

«Ճիշտ է, գրեթե ամեն օր ադրբեջանական բանակի կողմից խախտվում է հրադադարի պահպանման ռեժիմը, սակայն ի տարբերություն նախորդ տարիների՝ այդ խախտումները բացառապես հրաձգային զինատեսակներից են և կրում են անկանոն, ոչ թիրախային բնույթ: Ինչ վերաբերում է մեր կողմից ձեռնարկվող քայլերին, ապա պաշտպանության բանակի դիրքապահ ստորաբաժանումները այդ անկանոն կրակոցներին չեն պատասխանում, առաջնագծում շարունակում են հանդես գալ թելադրողի դիրքերից և իրենց կամքը պարտադրել հակառակորդին»,- նշել է ՊԲ հրամանատարը:

Կարեն Աբրահամյանը Ամանորի և Սուրբ Ծննդի տոների կապակցությամբ շնորհավորել է բանակի ողջ անձնակազմին, Արցախյան ազատամարտի և ապրիլյան քառօրյայի բոլոր մասնակիցներին, զոհված զինվորների հարազատներին և ողջ հայությանը՝ մաղթելով, որ 2019 թվականը մեր ժողովրդի համար լինի նորանոր հաղթանակների ու նվաճումների տարի:
