Գերմանիայի Ենա քաղաքի Մարդկության պատմության հետազոտության ինստիտուտի մասնագետները վերջերս աշխատում էին մի կնոջ մնացորդների վրա, որն ապրել է Գերմանիայում Դալհայմեի կրոնական համայնքում 997-1162 թթ.: Ըստ մասնագետների մոտավոր գնահատականների՝ մահվան պահին կինը եղել է 45-60 տարեկան: Գիտնականները փորձել են պարզել, թե ինչպիսին է եղել կնոջ սննդակարգը, և մանրամասնորեն ուսումնասիրել են նրա ատամների կառուցվածքը: Մանրադիտակով նրանց հաջողվել է կապույտ նյութի փոքրիկ մասնիկ հայտնաբերել, որը, ինչպես ավելի ուշ պարզ է դարձել, լազուրիտ է եղել, որից պատրաստել են վառ կարմիր գույն ունեցող թանկարժեք ներկ: XI-XII դարերում առևտրականները սկսել են այս հանքանյութը ներկայիս Աֆղանստանի տարածքից տանել դեպի Եվրոպա:

Հաշվի առնելով, թե ինչ թանկարժեք հանքանյութ էր լազուրիտը, մասնագետները եզրակացնում են, որ կինը փորձառու նկարիչ է եղել և արժեքավոր կտավներ է ստեղծել: Ըստ մասնագետների խոսքերի՝ միջին դարերում կանայք իսկապես երբեմն զբաղվում էին գրքերի նկարազարդմամբ և մանրանկարչությամբ, սակայն նրանց մեծ մասը չէր մակագրում իր աշխատանքները՝ համեստությունից ելնելով:
