Հայաստանի Հանրապետության նախագահ Արմեն Սարգսյանը հունվարի 26-ին հյուրընկալել է Իտալիայի Ազգային հետազոտությունների խորհրդի նախագահ պրոֆեսոր Մասսիմո Ինգուշոյին: 

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ նախագահի աշխատակազմի հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչությունից, պրոֆեսոր Ինգուշոյի հետ նախագահ Սարգսյանը վերջին անգամ հանդիպել էր անցյալ տարի նոյեմբերին Հռոմում և նրան հրավիրել Հայաստան՝ տեղում համագործակցության կոնկրետ ուղղությունները քննարկելու նպատակով:

 

Ողջունելով նրան՝ նախագահ Սարգսյանն ասել է. «Ընկերոջ հետ հանդիպելը միշտ հաճելի է: Կարծում եմ՝ այս այցը, հնարավոր համագործակցությունը մեր երկրի հետ կարևոր են ոչ միայն գիտության, այլ նաև հասարակության, հասարակական վարքի, անգամ քաղաքականության համար: Մենք մուտք ենք գործում նոր աշխարհ, և այդ նոր աշխարհը գերազանցապես ղեկավարվելու է նոր մտքերով, նոր մոտեցումներով, որտեղ քվանտային մոտեցումը կլինի առաջատարներից մեկը»:

Շնորհակալություն հայտնելով հրավերի համար՝ Իտալիայի Ազգային հետազոտությունների խորհրդի նախագահը մասնավորապես ասել է. «Իտալիայում Հայաստանն ընկալում են որպես ամենաբարձր մակարդակի ռազմավարական երկիր: Մեր երկրի նախագահը գիտությունը համարում է ապագային միտված հզոր և ուժեղ գործիք: Այս համատեքստում կարևոր էր նոյեմբերի մեր որոշումը՝ այցելել Հայաստանի Գիտությունների ազգային ակադեմիա»:

Նախագահ Սարգսյանը և Իտալիայի Ազգային հետազոտությունների խորհրդի նախագահն անդրադարձել են հայ-իտալական գիտական համագործակցության խորացման, գիտակրթական կապերի ընդլայնման հեռանկարներին:

Նախագահ Սարգսյանն առաջարկել է դիտարկել երկու երկրների գիտնականների և հետազոտական ինստիտուտների միջև կապեր ստեղծելու, գիտահետազոտական համատեղ ծրագրեր իրականացնելու հնարավորությունները՝ նշելով, որ Հայաստանը չունի մեծ ֆինանսական ռեսուրսներ, բայց ունի տաղանդավոր գիտնականներ: Արմեն Սարգսյանի խոսքով, երկու երկրները կարող են հաջողությամբ համագործակցել մասնավորապես արհեստական բանականության մաթեմատիկական մոդելավորման, ջրի պաշարների արդյունավետ կառավարման և այլ ոլորտներում:
