Եգիպտոսի նախագահ Աբդել Ֆաթթահ էլ Սիսին Մյունխենի անվտանգության համաժողովին ունեցած ելույթում հիշատակել է Հայոց ցեղասպանության մասին՝ առանց «ցեղասպանություն» եզրույթն  օգտագործելու:

 Մյունխենի անվտանգության համաժողովի ընթացքում Եգիպտոսի նախագահն ընդգծել է, որ Եգիպտոսն ընդունել և ապաստան է տրամադրել 100 տարի առաջ ջարդերից մազապուրծ  հայերին: Եգիպտոսի նախագահը խոսել է ջարդերից մազապուրծ հայ գաղթականների ընդունելու մասին, սակայն դրա պատճառներին չի անդրադարձել:

Եգիպտոսի Հայ դատի հանձնախումբը Եգիպտոսի նախագահի հայտարարությունը գնահատել է որպես Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը ճանաչելու ուղղությամբ նախաքայլ:

«Եգիպտոսի նախագահը Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը ճանաչելու ուղղությամբ նախաքայլ է անում:

Մյունխենի անվտանգության համաժողովի գլխավոր նիստի ընթացքում Եգիպտոսի նախագահ Աբդել Ֆաթթահ էլ Սիսիի՝ Թուրքիայի եւ արբանյակների՝ որպես ահաբեկչական կազմակերպությունների գործունեությունը չտեսնել ձևացնող կամ քաջալերողների թափանցիկ ակնարկն ամբողջացնող բաժինը եղավ գաղթականություն հարուցող պետությունների մասին խոսքի մեջ հարյուր տարի առաջ տեղի ունեցած  ջարդերի հետևանքով հայ գաղթականության մասին հիշատակումը:  

Ճիշտ է, «ցեղասպանություն» եզրը Եգիպտոսի նախագահը չօգտագործեց, սակայն առաջին քայլը կատարեց այդ ուղղությամբ՝ ներկա իրողությունների լույսի տակ դրա հիշատակման անհրաժեշտությունը տեսնելով: Նախապես նա խոսեց Եգիպտոսի կողմից հայ գաղթականներ ընդունած լինելու մասին, սակայն պատճառի մասին չխոսեց: Եգիպտոսի Հայ Դատի հանձնախումբը ողջունում է  Եգիպտոսի նախագահի այս քայլը՝ այն գնահատելով ոչ միայն Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը ճանաչելու նախաքայլ, այլև հետագա ցեղասպանությունները կանխելու և  արգելելու Հայաստանի Հանրապետության քաղաքակրթական նախաձեռնությանը՝ Մերձավոր Արևելքում և Հյուսիսային Աֆրիկայում գլխավոր դերակատարի դրական արձագանք ու դրան միանալու խոստում:

Մենք մեր ձայնն ենք միացնում նախագահ Սիսիին՝ պահանջելով հաշվետվության կանչել ահաբեկչական կազմակերպություններ խրախուսողներին ու ժողովուրդների ճակատագիրը ջլատողներին, նրանց դժբախտացնողներին»,-ասված է Եգիպտոսի Հայ դատի հանձնախմբի տարածած հայտարարության մեջ:
