Ադրբեջանական օդուժի կողմից հայկական ուսումնավարժական ուղղաթիռի խոցումից հետո Ադրբեջանի պաշտոնական շրջանակները, վախենալով Հայաստանի պատասխան քայլերից, սկսել են դիմել երրորդ երկրի օգնությանը: Ադրբեջանի Նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևին առընթեր Հասարակական կազմակերպությունների աջակցության խորհրդի նախագահ Ազայ Գուլիևը նամակ է ուղարկել Ռուսաստանի Դաշնության Նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինին' խնդրելով օգնել կարգավորել հ արցը միջազգային նորմերի հիման վրա: Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, այս մասին տեղեկացնում է ադրբեջանական Haqqin.az-ը:
Գուլիևը փորձել է կատարվածի ողջ մեղքը բարդել հայկական կողմի վրա: Նամակում նա խնդրել է Պուտինից օգտվել իր հեղինակությունից և ազդեցությունից' ղարաբաղյան հիմնահարցի շուտափույթ կարգավորման համար:
Ղարաբաղա-ադրբեջանական սահմանի արևելյան հատվածի օդային տարածքում նոյեմբերի 12-ին ժամը 13.45-ի սահմաններում, ուսումնավարժական թռիչքի ժամանակ ադրբեջանական ԶՈՒ-ի կողմից հրադադարի ռեժիմի խախտման արդյունքում խոցվել է ԼՂՀ ՌՕՈւ ՄԻ-24 ուղղաթիռը: Խոցման վայրը շփման գծին չափազանց մոտ է: Հակառակորդը շարունակում է տարբեր տրամաչափի հրաձգային զենքերից ինտենսիվ կրակ վարել դեպքի վայրի ուղղությամբ: Անձնակազմի հրամանատարն է եղել մայոր Սերգեյ Սահակյանը: Մյուս երկու զինծառայողներն էին լեյտենանտ Ազատ Սահակյանը եւ ավագ լեյտենանտ Սարգիս Նազարյանը: Ադրբեջանական օդուժի կողմից հայկական ուսումնավարժական ուղղաթիռը խոցելու դեպքի առթիվ ԼՂՀ զինվորական դատախազությունը քրեական գործ կհարուցի: այս պահին աշխատանքներ են տարվում այդ ուղղությամբ եւ ԼՂՀ դատախազությունը հանդես կգա հայտարարությամբ ու կներկայացնի քրեական գործի մանրամասները:
Ամենայն հավանականությամբ, քրեական գործը կհարուվի ԼՂՀ ՔՕ-ի 104-րդ հոդվածի 2-րդ մասի 13-րդ կետի հատկանիշներով' սպանություն՝ ազգային, ռասայական կամ կրոնական ատելության կամ կրոնական մոլեռանդության շարժառիթով:
