ՀՀ երկրորդ նախագահ Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանը ծավալուն հարցազրույց է տվել «168 Ժամ»-ին: Ինչպես և Քոչարյանի վերջին ուղերձը, այս մեկի գլխավոր մեխը նույնպես Արցախն է և Արցախյան հակամարտության կարգավորման հարցում Փաշինյանի վարած քաղաքականությունը: Ըստ Քոչարյանի, Փաշինյանը տանուլ է տվել բանակցությունները Ալիևին և այդ հանգամանքը ունենալու է իր հետևանքները: Պատահական չէ նաև այս համատեքստում ապրիլյան քառօրյայի հիշատակումը: Քոչարյանը, ըստ էության, ակնարկում է, որ այս անգամ ևս իշխանությունների վարած քաղաքականությունը հանգեցնելու է այդ սցենարի կրկնությանը:
 
Այլ հարց է՝ Փաշինյանը գիտակցված է գնում այդ քայլին, թե ստեղծված իրավիճակը պարզապես փորձի և քաղաքական հմտության պակասի արդյունք է: Անդրադառնալով մամուլում ու սոցցանցերում առկա այն տեսակետին, թե քանի Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանը բանտում է, իշխանությունները Արցախի հարցում գործարքի են գնալու, Քոչարյանը նշեց, որ այս իշխանության օրոք ոչինչ բացառել չի կարելի, հատկապես, եթե այդ իշխանությունը ունի հստակ ընդգծված սորոսական դիմագիծ՝ ինչի մասին էլ ակնարկեց երկրորդ նախագահը: Ստացվում է` վտանգը հենց այստեղ է՝ ռուսական քաղաքական էլիտայի հետ հարաբերությունների սառեցման և պրո-արևմտյան քաղաքական գծի որդեգրման մեջ: Ըստ էության. Փաշինյանը ազդարարեց, որ Փաշինյանի գլխավոր ձախողումը լինելու է Արցախը և դրանով է հենց պայմանավորված լինելու հանրային վերաբերմունքի կտրուկ փոփոխությունը Փաշինյանի և վերջինիս կառավարության նկատմամբ:
 
Ուշագրավ էր նաև Քոչարյանի իրոնիկ խայթոցը Փաշինյան-Տեր Պետրոսյան հարաբերությունների մասով: Որքան էլ վարչապետը և ՀՀ առաջին նախագահը փորձեն թաքցնել իրենց քաղաքական կապը, ըստ Քոչարյանի, դա ակնհայտ է: Թե այդ հարաբերությունները, թե դրանք քողարկելու անթաքույց փորձերը նույնպես վտանգ են, հաշվի առնելով առաջին նախագահի՝ տարածքային զիջումների մասինհայտնի թեզը: Քոչարյանը փորձում է ցույց տալ, որ Հայաստանի համար բանակցային սեղանի շուրջ կոմֆորտ պայմանների ստեղծմանն ուղղված երկարատև ջանքերը Փաշինյան-Տեր Պետրոսյան տանդեմը քանդել է մեկ վերելակային հանդիպմամբ:
 
Քոչարյանի վերջին և գուցե ամենակարևոր մեսիջը վերաբերվում էր նրա քաղաքական ապագային: Երկրորդ նախագահը հայտարարեց, որ նա իր ծրագրերից հեշտությամբ հրաժարվողը չէ: Քոչարյանի ծրագրերը հանրությանը այդպես էլ հասու չդարձան, կարող ենք միայն ենթադրել, որ երկրորդ նախագահը շարունակելու է մնալ խաղի մեջ, հատկապես, որ խաղում նրա հիմնական օպոնենտները մեկը մյուսի հետևից միավորներ են կորցնում…
