Ապրիլի 11-ին Իտալիայի Պատգամավորների պալատն ընդունեց Հայոց Ցեղասպանության մասին որոշում, որով վերահաստատեց ՄԱԿ-ի Ցեղասպանության հանցանքի և կանխարգելման և պատժի կոնվենցիայով ընդունված իր պարտավորությունները:

ՀՀ ԱԳՆ-ն այդ կապակցությամբ հայտարարեց.

«Սա ևս մեկ կարևոր ներդրում է ցեղասպանության ենթարկված հայ ժողովրդի իրավունքների հարգման և վերականգնման միջազգային հանրության ջանքերում։ Իտալիայի խորհրդարանի կողմից Հայոց ցեղասպանության վերաբերյալ իրազեկության բարձրացումը ցեղասպանությունների և մարդկության դեմ այլ հանցագործությունների կանխարգելմանն ուղղված կարևոր ուղերձ է»։

Արևելագիտության ֆակուլտետի դեկան Ռուբեն Մելքոնյանը, Orer.am-ի հետ զրույցում անդրադառնալով Իտալիայի խորհրդարանի կողմից Հայոց ցեղասպանության վերաբերյալ որոշման ընդունմանը, նշեց, որ ինչպես որոշումը, այնպես էլ ցանկացած նման որոշում Թուրքիայում բավականին բուռն արձագանքի է արժանանում:

«Նման որոշումների ընդունումը թեև շատ դրական քայլ կարելի է համարել, սակայն դրանց հարկավոր է չափավոր լավատեսությամբ վերաբերվել, քանի որ այն իրականում մի մեծ գործընթացի ընդամենը մասն է կազմում: Այսօրինակ գնահատականները մեզ միայն կարող են որոշակի դրական լիցք հաղորդել, բայց տվյալ դեպքում Իտալիայի համար այն քննություն է, որը ցույց է տալիս, որ Իտալիան ժողովրդավարական երկիր է:

Այսպիսի դեպքերում Հայաստանը բարոյական աջակցություն է ստանում այլ երկրներից, այդքան բան: Ինչ վերաբերում է Թուրքիային, ապա, բանականաբար, նմանատիպ որոշումները Թուրքիայում մշտապես բացասական արձագանքի են արժանանում: Նման առիթներն իրենք ամեն անգամ օգտագործում են հերթական անգամ Հայոց Ցեղասպանությունը ժխտելու և հակագիտական և հակատրամաբանական որոշակի թեզեր շրջանառության մեջ դնելու համար»,- ասաց Ռ. Մելքոնյանը:

Անդրադառնալով հարցին, թե Եվրամիության անդամ երկրների կողմից Հայոց Ցեղասպանության ընդունման բանաձևերի ընդունումը կարո՞ղ է դառնալ Թուրքիայի վրա ներազդելու հնարավորություն, որպեսզի Թուրքիան էլ իր հերթին վերջ ի վերջո ստիպված լինի ընդունել իր կողմից մարդկության դեմ իրագործած ամենամեծ ոճրագործությունն ու ողբերգությունը: Թուրքագետը նշեց նաև, որ մեծ քաղաքականությանն ավելի ռեալիստական մոտեցում է ցուցաբերում և չի հավատում, որ Եվրոպան ճնշումներ կգործադրի Թուրքիայի վրա:

«Եթե անգամ նման փորձ արվի, ապա չեմ կարծում, որ Թուրքիան երբևէ տեղի կտա նման ճնշումներին: Պատմությունը ցույց է տալիս, որ դրանք հայտարարություններից այն կողմ չեն անցնում: Պատմության ընթացքում բազմաթիվ են նաև այն դեպքերը, երբ հայ ժողովրդին խոստացել են, որ տարբեր խնդիրներ կլուծեն, սակայն դրանք զուտ հայտարարությունների և տեքստերի մակարդակից ավելի չեն եղել:

Բացի այդ, ներկայումս մեր տարածաշրջանում տեղի ունեցող վերջին իրադարձությունները ցույց են տալիս նաև, որ Թուրքիայի պահվածքը գնալով էլ ավելի է ագրեսիվ դառնում: Այսինքն՝ այդ երկիրը ոչ միայն չի առերեսվում իր պատմության հետ, այլև հենց այս պահին տարբեր պայմանավորվածությունների արդյունքում կարողացել է զավթել ինքնիշխան Սիրիայի տարածք, որտեղ որոշակի քայլեր է կատարում, այդ թվում՝ մշակութային օջախներ ոչնչացնելու քաղաքականություն: Այսինքն՝ պարզ է, որ ճնշումների և բարոյական կոչերի պարագայում Թուրքիան զիջումների չի գնա և չի ընդունի Հայոց Ցեղասպանությունը»,- ասաց Ռ. Մելքոնյանը:
