Սխտորը մոլորակի ամենաօգտակար մթերքներից է: Եվ շատերը սխտորն օգտագործում են հում վիճակում: Սխտորը կարգավորում է արյան բարձր ճնշումը, կարգավորում է խոլեստերինի մակարդակը, պայքարում է սրտի իշեմիկ հիվանդության դեմ, կանխում է ինֆարկտը, աթերոսկլերոզը:

Տապակած սխտորը ևս շատ օգտակար է: Եթե 6 ատամիկ տապակած սխտոր,ապա 24 ժամում օրգանիզմում տեղի կունենա հետևյալը:

1-ին ժամ հետո սխտորը մարսվում է օրգանիզմում և վերածվում է մարմնի համար սնունդի:

2-4 ժամ հետո սխտորը օգնում է օրգանիզմին պայքարել ազատ ռադիկալների հետ:
