Первая страна в Европе, которая полностью отказывается от платы за проезд

Люксембург — первая европейская страна, в которой общественный транспорт станет полностью бесплатным. Такие меры пообещали предпринять власти страны во время предвыборной кампании.

С одной стороны, это было только предвыборное обещание, но не стоит думать, что после выборов о нём позабыли. Правительство, которое предложило эту транспортную новацию, — уже избрали пару месяцев назад и реформа уже готовится к внедрению.

Такое решение было вызвано постоянным транспортным коллапсом в одной из самых маленьких стран Европы.

В столице проживает около 115 тысяч человек, но еще приблизительно 400 тысяч каждый день приезжает в город на работу. Это провоцирует крупные пробки. Статистически подсчитали, что только в 2016 году каждый житель или частый гость Люксембурга простоял в пробке в среднем 33 часа.

Делая общественный транспорт настолько доступным, власти надеются уменьшить количество автомобилей в городе и избавиться от пробок.

Похожее решение хотят принять и в Германии, их цель сократить цену на проезд в любом виде общественного транспорта до 1 евро. А в Аугсбурге сделали бесплатным проезд в центре города, но не с целью уменьшения пробок, а для улучшения качества воздуха в этом районе.

Возвращаясь к Люксембургу, стоит сказать, что уже в 2018 году общественный транспорт там сделали бесплатным для всех детей и молодежи в возрасте до двадцати лет. А билеты на поезд, для той же возрастной категории не превышают 2 евро.

Таким образом, будущие нововведения не взяты с неба, а есть логическим продолжением уже запущенной транспортной реформы в стране.

На самом деле, транспорт планировалось сделать бесплатным уже летом 2019 года, но министр инфраструктуры Люксембурга, Франсуа Бауш заявил, что проект будет реализован в марте 2020 года.

Что же, ожидая таких уникальных реформ в Люксембурге, стоит задуматься и о том, как улучшить нашу транспортную инфраструктуру.
