ՀՀ կառավարությունն Ազգային ժողովին ներկայացրել է նախագիծ, որով առաջարկվում է անտառները ոչնչացնելու, ապօրինի ծառահատումների համար խստացնել քրեական և վարչական պատասխանատվությունը:

Հայաստանի Հանրապետության քրեական օրենսգրքում փոփոխություններ կատարելու մասին և կից ներկայացված օրենքների նախագծերը կքննարկվեն ԱԺ տարածքային կառավարման, տեղական ինքնակառավարման, գյուղատնտեսության և բնապահպանության հարցերի մշտական հանձնաժողովի նիստում:

Մասնավորապես, անտառային հողերում, ինչպես նաև անտառային հողերի մեջ չմտնող տարածքներում ծառերը, թփերը ապօրինի հատելը կամ ոչնչացնելը, պետական, համայնքային կամ այլ անձանց սեփականություն համարվող բուսածածկը ոչնչացնելը կամ մինչև աճի դադարեցման աստիճանի վնասելը, եթե այդ գործողությունները զգալի վնաս են պատճառել կամ կատարվել են նույն արարքի համար վարչական տույժ նշանակելուց հետո մեկ տարվա ընթացքում, առաջակվում է պատժել տուգանքով: Առաջարկվող տուգանքի չափը նվազագույն աշխատավարձի հինգհարյուրապատիկից հազարապատիկն է: Առաջարկվում է նաև որոշակի պաշտոններ զբաղեցնելու կամ որոշակի գործունեությամբ զբաղվելու իրավունքից զրկել՝ երկուսից հինգ տարի ժամկետով, կամ կալանքով՝ առավելագույնը երեք ամիս ժամկետով, կամ ազատազրկմամբ՝ առավելագույնը երկու տարի ժամկետով:

Նույն արարքները, որոնք կատարվել են պաշտոնեական դիրքն օգտագործելով, բնության հատուկ պահպանվող տարածքներում կամ էկոլոգիական աղետի, կամ արտակարգ էկոլոգիական դրության գոտում, խոշոր վնաս պատճառելով ՀՀ Կարմիր գրքում գրանցված ծառատեսակներին կամ բուսածածկին պատժել տուգանքով: Առաջարկվող տուգանքի չափը նվազագույն աշխատավարձի հազարապատիկից երկուհազարապատիկին է կամ որոշակի պաշտոններ զբաղեցնելու կամ որոշակի գործունեությամբ զբաղվելու իրավունքից զրկելը՝ հինգից յոթ տարի ժամկետով, կամ կալանքը՝ առավելագույնը երեք ամիս ժամկետով: Կամ սահմանել ազատազրկում` երկուսից հինգ տարի ժամկետով` որոշակի պաշտոններ զբաղեցնելու կամ որոշակի գործունեությամբ զբաղվելու իրավունքից զրկելով` առավելագույնը երեք տարի ժամկետով կամ առանց դրա:

Նույն արարքները, որոնք առաջացրել են առանձնապես խոշոր վնաս, նախագծով առաջարկվում է պատժել ազատազրկմամբ` երեքից ութ տարի ժամկետով` որոշակի պաշտոններ զբաղեցնելու կամ որոշակի գործունեությամբ զբաղվելու իրավունքից զրկելով:

Իսկ անտառներ, ինչպես նաև անտառային հողերի մեջ չմտնող տնկարկներ ոչնչացնելը կամ վնասելը, որը կատարվել է կրակի, պայթուցիկ նյութերի կամ առավել վտանգի այլ աղբյուրի հետ անզգույշ վերաբերմունքի արդյունքում, և եթե այդ գործողությունները զգալի վնաս են պատճառել, առաջարկվում է ևս պատժել տուգանքով՝ նվազագույն աշխատավարձի հազարապատիկից երկուհազարապատիկի չափով: Առաջարկվում է նաև պատժել ազատազրկմամբ՝ առավելագույնը երեք տարի ժամկետով: Նույն գործողությունները, որոնք խոշոր չափերի վնաս են պատճառել, առաջարկվում է պատժել տուգանքով՝ նվազագույն աշխատավարձի երկուհազարապատիկից երեքհազարապատիկի չափով կամ ազատազրկմամբ՝ առավելագույնը հինգ տարի ժամկետով:

Անտառներ, ինչպես նաև անտառային հողերի մեջ չմտնող տնկարկներ դիտավորությամբ ոչնչացնելը կամ վնասելը, որը կատարվել է հրդեհման կամ հանրավտանգ այլ եղանակով, առաջարկվում է պատժել ազատազրկմամբ՝ հինգից տաս տարի ժամկետով: Կամ որոշակի պաշտոններ զբաղեցնելու, կամ որոշակի գործունեությամբ զբաղվելու իրավունքից զրկել առավելագույնը երեք տարի ժամկետով, կամ առանց դրա:
