Դատավոր Դավիթ Գրիգորյանը հանդես է եկել հայտարարությամբ, որը հրապարակել է  նրա փաստաբան Երվանդ Վարոսյանը։

«Հարգելի հայրենակիցներ, ինչպես արդեն տեղեկացել եք, երեկ ինձ մեղադրանք է առաջադրվել, որը ես անհիմն եմ համարում ու չեմ ընդունում։ Ինձ առաջադրված մեղադրանքի ու հետապնդման մասին դեռ կարծում եմ առիթներ կլինեն արտահայտվել։ Այսօր սակայն ցանկանում եմ հատուկ շնորհակալություն հայտնել շուրջ 100 փաստաբաններին, ովքեր հրապարակային իրենց պատրաստակամությունն են հայտնել պաշտպանելու ինձ քրեական գործի շրջանակներում։
Հարգելի ընկերներ, ձեզնից շատերին ճանաչում եմ անձամբ մեր ընդհանուր աշխատանքի բերումով, շատերիդ չեմ ճանաչում, բայց համոզված եմ, որ բոլորդ շատ լավ գիտակցում եք, թե ինչ է իրականում կատարվում, ու ձեր քայլն ուղղված է ոչ այնքան դատավոր Դավիթ Գրիգորյանին սատարելուն, որքան մեր Հայրենիքում անկախ դատական համակարգի կայացման ճանապարհին ճշնշումների ու հետապնդումների բացառմանը։ Հպարտ եմ ու զգացված այն հանգամանքից, որ արդարադատության համակարգի կարևորագույն բաղկացուցիչ մասը հանդիսացող փաստաբանության ներկայացուցիչները անտարբեր չեն մնացել զարգացումներից։
