Օգոստոսի 16-ին Հայաստանի Հանրապետության ոստիկանության պետ, ոստիկանության գեներալ-մայոր Վալերիյ Օսիպյանը հանդիպում ունեցավ օրենսդիր մարմնի ներկացուցիչների հետ:

Հանդիպմանը մասնակցում էին նաև ոստիկանության շտաբի պետ Արմեն Ղուկասյանը և հասարակայնության հետ կապի և լրատվության վարչության պետ Աշոտ Ահարոնյանը:

Ողջունելով հյուրերին՝ Վալերիյ Օսիպյանը կարևորեց ոստիկանության և օրենսդիր մարմնի համագործակցությունը` համոզմունք հայտնելով, որ նման հանդիպումներն էլ ավելի հաճախակի կլինեն և գործընկերությունն ավելի կխորանա՝ ի շահ Հայաստանի Հանրապետության, ի շահ հանցավորության դեմ պայքարի:

Հանդիպման ընթացքում խոսվեց որոշ հանցատեսակների մասով անհրաժեշտ օրենսդրական փոփոխությունների, նաև իրավախախտումների դեմ պայքարում հասարակության ներգրավվածության անհրաժեշտության մասին: Քննարկվեցին ճանապարհային երթևեկության անվտանգությանը վերաբերող հարցեր:

Ոստիկանության պետը ներկայացրեց, թե հանցագործությունների նախականխման, կանխման և բացահայտման ուղղությամբ ինչ աշխատանքներ են կատարվում: 

Վալերիյ Օսիպյանն անդրադարձավ նաև առաջիկայում ոստիկանությունում սպասվող բարեփոխումներին, մասնավորապես խոսեց նոր ստեղծվելիք օպերատիվ կառավարման կենտրոնի գործունեության, տեխնիկական հագեցվածության մասին, ներկայացրեց, թե ինչպիսին պետք է լինի նորաստեղծ շարժական պարեկային ծառայությունը:

Հանդիպման ընթացքում քննարկվեցին փոխադարձ հետաքրքրություն ներկայացնող այլ հարցեր ևս:
