ՀՀ վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն  ընդունել է Արժույթի միջազգային հիմնադրամի (IMF) Միջին Արևելքի և Կենտրոնական Ասիայի դեպարտամենտի տնօրեն Ջիհադ Ազուրին: Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին հայտնեցին ՀՀ վարչապետի աշխատակազմի տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչությունից, հանդիպմանը ներկա էր նաև Հայաստանում ԱՄՀ մշտական ներկայացուցիչ Յուլյա Ուստյուգովան:

Վարչապետը նշել է, որ Հայաստանի և Արժույթի միջազգային հիմնադրամի միջև առկա է արդյունավետ համագործակցություն, և կառավարությունը հետաքրքրված է դրա զարգացմամբ: Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի խոսքով՝ Հայաստանը տարբեր ոլորտներում բարեփոխումների հավակնոտ օրակարգ ունի, և այդ գործընթացում միջազգային գործընկերների, այդ թվում՝ ԱՄՀ օժանդակությունը կարևոր նշանակություն ունի:

ԱՄՀ Միջին Արևելքի և Կենտրոնական Ասիայի դեպարտամենտի տնօրենը բարձր է գնահատել ՀՀ կառավարության հետ համագործակցությունը և ընդգծել, որ Հայաստանը հուսալի գործընկեր է ԱՄՀ համար: Ջիհադ Ազուրը նշել է, որ ԱՄՀ-ն պատրաստ է փոխշահավետ գործակցության շրջանակում աջակցել ՀՀ կառավարությանը՝ բարեփոխումները հաջողելու գործընթացում և երկրի տնտեսական առաջընթացին միտված ծրագրերում:

Վարչապետը, խոսելով ՀՀ տնտեսության առաջնահերթությունների մասին, նշել է, որ կառավարության նպատակը արտահանմանը միտված և տեխնոլոգիաների վրա հիմնված տնտեսության ձևավորումն է: Հյուրի խնդրանքով Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն անդրադարձել է տնտեսության կառուցվածքի փոփոխությունների, կոռուպցիայի դեմ պայքարի, դատաիրավական ոլորտի, պետական կառավարման համակարգի բարեփոխումների, ներդրումային միջավայրի բարելավման, ենթակառուցվածքների զարգացման և այլ ուղղություններով իրականացվող քայլերին ու միջոցառումներին: Ջիհադ Ազուրը նշել է, որ ԱՄՀ-ն սատարում է ՀՀ կառավարության՝ երկրի տնտեսությունը բարեփոխելու ջանքերին:

ՀՀ վարչապետը և ԱՄՀ  Միջին Արևելքի և Կենտրոնական Ասիայի դեպարտամենտի տնօրենը մտքեր են փոխանակել զարգացման երկարաժամկետ ռազմավարությունների տեսլականի շուրջ:
