1. Ծննդաբերություն ջրում
Ջրի թուլացնող և անալգետիկ հատկություններն օգնում են թեթևացնել կծկումները, լավացնել արյան շրջանառությունը, թուլանալ և հարմար դիրք ընունել: Ջուրը նաև բացառում է մաշկի չորությունը, բարձր քրտնարտադրությունը, շոգի զգացողությունը:

Պետք է հիշել, որ ջրում անվտանգ ծննդաբերել կարելի է միայն որակավորված բուժանձնակազմի հետ և որոշ կանոնների խստիվ հետևելով:

Այս մեթոդի ընդդիմադիրները համոզված են, որ ջուրը մեծացնում է ծննդաբերության ընդհանուր ժամանակը և վտանգավոր է նորածնի համար. երեխան կարող է ոչ մաքուր ջուր կուլ տալ, նույնիսկ խեղդվել:

Այդպիսի ծննդաբերության կողմնակիցները կարծում են, որ դա հեշտացնում է երեխայի անցումն արգանդից լույս աշխարհ, իսկ ընկերքին կպած լինելը հետագա մի քանի շաբաթներին հնարավորություն է տալիս դրանից ստանալ բոլոր սննդանյութերը:

Սակայն բժիշկները համոզված են՝ այդպիսի ծննդաբերությունը մահացու վտանգավոր է նորածնի համար. բակտերիալ վարակի ռիսկը մի քանի անգամ մեծանում է:
