Այս պահին ԱԱԾ նախկին տնօրեն Արթուր Վանեցյանը պատրաստ չէ մեկնաբանել իր հրաժարականի տեքստը, թեև նա գիտակցում է, թե երեկվա իր հրաժարականի տեքստում ինչ վտանգավոր հայտարարություն է արել: ԱԱԾ նախկին տնօրենը լրագրողներին ասել է նաև, որ առհասարակ, իր բոլոր քայլերն անում է շատ գիտակցված ու մտածված: Նա նաև կոչ է արել բոլորին, որ չօգտվել ստեղծված իրավիճակից, չփորձել պղտոր ջրում ձուկ որսալ և իրեն չներքաշել տարբեր խաղերի մեջ:

«Ես մեկ ու կես տարվա աշխատանքի ընթացքում, երբ եղել եմ ԱԱԾ տնօրեն, իմ աշխատանքը պատվով եմ իրականացրել և մեծ պատասխանատվությամբ: Դրական արդյունքները եղել են ակնհայտ բոլորի համար: Այն հեղինակությունը և վարկանիշը, որը ձեռք է բերել ԱԱԾ-ն, իմ համար դա ամենակարևոր ու մնայուն արժեքն է: Եվ ես կարծում եմ, որ այդ գործում ունեցել եմ շատ մեծ հաջողություն»,- ասել է Վանեցյանը:

Անդրադառնալով երեկվանից ակտիվացած նախկին քաղաքական-հասարակական գործիչների հայտարարություններին նա հորդորել է մնալ իրենց քաղաքական անցյալում և չխառնվել իր ու գործող իշխանությունների ներկայիս հարաբերությունների մեջ: Անդրադառնալով վարչապետի մամուլի խոսնակի հայտարարությանը, թե պետք է պարզել ով է գրել Վանեցյանի հրաժարականի տեքստը՝ նկատի ունենալով կոռուպցիոն շրջանակներին՝ Արթուր Վանեցյանն ասել է.

«Պաշտոնապես հայտարարում եմ, որ այդ տեքստը գրվել է իմ կողմից և խմբագրվել է իմ խորհրդական Արմեն Դավթյանի կողմից: Այսինքն՝ մենք միասին աշխատանք ենք կատարել այդ տեքստի վրա: Ուղղակի միամտություն եմ համարում, որ ինձ կարող են փորձել կապել դրանց հետ: Ավելի կոնկրետ ասեմ՝ որևէ մեկը չփորձի ինձ կապի Միքայել Մինասյանի հետ, որովհետև Միքայել Մինասյանն ինձ համար մարդ է, ով պետք է դեռ շատ հարցերի պատասխան տա ՀՀ օրենքների առջև»:

Վանեցյանը պատասխանելով հարցին, թե արդյո՞ք այսուհետ զբաղվելու է ակտիվ քաղաքականությամբ, նշել է, որ այս կյանքում որևէ բան բացառել պետք չէ:
