Վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն այսօր՝ սեպտեմբերի 20-ին, ընդունել է Լիբանանի Հանրապետության ազգային պաշտպանության նախարար Էլիաս Բու Սաաբին։ Այս մասին NEWS.am-ին հայտնում են ՀՀ կառավարության լրատվական ծառայությունից։

Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը ողջունել է Լիբանանի պաշտպանության նախարարի այցը մեր երկիր եւ, վերհիշելով 2018 թ. աշնանը Լիբանան կատարած իր այցը, երկրի բարձրագույն ղեկավարության հետ հանդիպումները, նկատել, որ բարձրաստիճան պաշտոնական փոխայցերը նպաստում են երկկողմ գործակցության խորացմանը: Վարչապետը նշել է, որ երկու ժողովուրդներին կապում է դարավոր բարեկամությունը, Լիբանանում գործում է կենսունակ հայկական համայնք, երկու երկրների միջեւ առկա է բարձր մակարդակի քաղաքական երկխոսություն, եւ Հայաստանը կարեւորում է Լիբանանի հետ հարաբերությունների շարունակական սերտացումը՝ քաղաքական, տնտեսական, ռազմական, մշակութային, հումանիտար եւ այլ ոլորտներում:

Հանդիպման ընթացքում զրուցակիցները մտքեր են փոխանակել պաշտպանության ոլորտում փոխգործակցության ամրապնդման, փորձի փոխանակման, համատեղ նախագծերի իրականացման շուրջ, անդրադարձել նաեւ միջազգային եւ տարածաշրջանային անվտանգության մարտահրավերներին:

Վարչապետն անդրադարձել է Սիրիայում ՀՀ հումանիտար առաքելության նպատակներին եւ Լիբանանի հարավում ՄԱԿ-ի ՅՈՒՆԻՖԻԼ առաքելությանը հայ խաղաղապահների մասնակցությանը՝ ընդգծելով, որ Հայաստանը կարեւորում է տարածաշրջանում խաղաղության եւ կայունության հաստատումը: Լիբանանի ազգային պաշտպանության նախարարը ողջունել է Հայաստանի հումանիտար գործողությունները Սիրիայում եւ երախտագիտություն հայտնել Լիբանանի հարավում ՄԱԿ-ի ՅՈՒՆԻՖԻԼ առաքելությանը հայ խաղաղապահ անձնակազմի մասնակցության համար:
