Ժակ Շիրակն անկեղծորեն սիրում էր ֆրանսիացիներին և մարմնավորում էր Ֆրանսիայի գաղափարը, ասել է Ֆրանսիայի նախագահ Էմանուել Մակրոնը՝ հանրությանն ուղղված հեռուստաուղերձում, հաղորդում է РИА Новости-ն:

«Ժակ Շիրակը հեռացավ մեզնից: Մենք՝ ֆրանսիացիներս, կորցրեցինք պետական գործչի, որին սիրում ենք այնպես, ինչպես նա էր մեզ սիրում: Իր 40 տարվա քաղաքկան գործունեության ընթացքում նա մարմնավորել է Ֆրանսիայի գաղափարը, համարձակ պաշտպանել երկիրն ատելությունից», - ասել է Մակրոնը:  

«Ժակ Շիրակը մեծ ֆրանսիացի էր, ազատ մարդ, որը վայելում էր գյուղատնտեսական արտադրանք ստեղծողի, արդյունաբերողի համակրանքը, ժամանակ էր հատկացնում բարևելու, զրուցելու գործարանի աշխատողի և արվեստագետի հետ: Շիրակը անկեղծորեն սիրում էր մարդկանց՝ անկախ նրանց համոզմունքներից», - նշել է երկրի ղեկավարը:

Ըստ Մակրոնի՝ Շիրակը Ֆրանսիայի ճակատագիրն էր: «Այսօր մենք խորապես երախտապարտ ենք Ժակ Շիրակին: Նա այդքան բան է արել մեր ազգի, մեր արժեքների, եղբայրության և հանդուրժողականության համար»,- ընդգծել է նա:

Հիշեցնենք, որ Ժակ Շիրակը մահացել է սեպտեմբերի 26-ին: Նա 86 տարեկան էր: Նոյեմբերի 29-ին կդառնար 87 տարեկան: Շիրակը Ֆրանսիայի նախագահն է եղել 1995-2007 թվականներին: Մինչև այդ, եղել է երկրի վարչապետն ու 18 տարի՝ Փարիզի քաղաքապետը:
