«Վանաձորի օր» տոնակատարությունների մեկնարկը տրված է: Վանաձորի քաղաքապետ Մամիկոն Ասլանյանն իր աշխատասենյակում ընդունում է Հայաստանի երրորդ քաղաքի տոնը շնորհավորելու եկած բազմաթիվ հյուրերի աշխարհի տարբեր անկյուններից: Ներկա են տեղական ու մարզային իշխանությունների ներկայացուցիչներ, ԱԺ պատգամավորներ, Վանաձորի քույր քաղաքների ներկայացուցիչներ, Եվրամիության դեսպանը, Լեհաստանի փոխդեսպանը՝ տիկնոջ հետ, Պոդոլսկի փոխքաղաքապետը, ԱՄՆ Փասադենա քաղաքի ներկայացուցիչները, Գերմանիայի Ռեգեն երկրամասային շրջանի պատվիրակությունը, դեսպաններ, կառավարության անդամներ: Հյուրերը բաժակ են բարձրացրեցնում Վանաձորի զարգացման և առաջընթացի համար: Լոռու մարզպետ Անդրեյ Ղուկասյանն իր խոսքում ասաց, որ չի պատկերացնում իր կյանքն՝ առանց Վանաձորի:

Քաղաքապետ Մամիկոն Ասլանյանը, շնորհավորելով հյուրերին, մասնավորապես ասաց, որ քաղաքային իշխանությունը ջանք ու եռանդ չի խնայում քաղաքը օր առաջ բարեկարգ դարձնելու նպատակով. «Ասում են՝ մարդն ամուր է, երբ թիկունքում զգում է սատարող հարազատ ուժ: Վանաձորի ուժը վանաձորցին է՝ իր քաղաքի հանդեպ անմնացորդ սիրով, նվիրվածությամբ ու սրտացավությամբ, իր պարզ ու սրտաբաց էությամբ: Երկիրն ամուր է համայնք-կառավարություն սերտ կապի և փոխգործակցության արդյունքում համայնքների հզորացմամբ, ինչն այսօր տեսանելի և շոշափելի է գործնականում»: Վանաձոր այցելած հյուրերն էլ իրենց հերթին շնորհավորելով վանաձորցիներին՝ նշեցին, որ ամեն անգամ այցելելով Վանաձոր՝ կրկին ու կրկին սիրահարվում են գեղեցիկ քաղաքին ու նրա բարեհամբույր, ջերմ բնակիչներին:

Այժմ հյուրերն ու վանաձորցիները պատրաստվում են այցելել Վանաձորի Սուրբ Գրիգոր Նարեկացի առաջնորդանիստ եկեղեցի՝ միասնական աղոթքի համար:

Հիշեցնենք, որ տոնական օրվա ընթացքում բազմաթիվ միջոցառումներ են նախատեսված: Վանաձորցիներին շնորհավորելու է գալու նաև ՀՀ վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը: Տոնական միջոցառումը կավարտվի Հայքի հրապարակում՝ մեծ համերգային շոու ծրագրով, որի ընթացքում տեղի կունենա նաև Կառավարություն-Վանաձորի համայնքապետարան համաֆինանսավորմամբ կառուցված տարածաշրջանում նախադեպը չունեցող լուսաձայնային հզոր էֆեկտներով երգող, պարող շատրվանների բացման հանդիսավոր արարողությունը:
