Վրաստանի պաշտպանության նախկին նախարար, «Մեր Վրաստան-ազատ դեմոկրատներ» ընդդիմադիր կուսակցության առաջնորդ Իրակլի Ալասանիան նոյեմբերի 20-ին Ուղեւորվել Է ԱՄՆ, որտեղ հանդիպում կունենա Պետդեպարտամենտի ներկայացուցիչների հետ, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը՝ հղում անելով «Նովոստի Գրուզիա»-ին:
ԱՄՆ-ում բանակցությունների գլխավոր թեման կլինի Վրաստանի ներքաղաքական իրադրությունը երկրում տեղի ունեցած վերջին իրադարձությունների ֆոնի վրա: Վրաստանի պաշտպանության նախարարի պաշտոնից Ալասանիային հեռացնելը հանգեցրեց այն բանին, որ եւս երկու նախարարներ լքեցին կառավարությունը, իսկ նրա կուսակցությունը բաժանվեց «Վրացական երազանք» իշխող կոալիցիայից: Այդ ամենին նախորդեց պաշտպանության նախարարության մի խումբ պաշտոնյաների նկատմամբ քրեական գործերի հարուցումը:
«Մեր նկատմամբ դատախազության գործողությունները քաղաքական աստառ ունեն: Իշխանությունները մեկ, երկու, թե տասը գործ կսարքեն. իրենց անելիքն Է: Ցանկանում եմ ասել, որ ես միանգամայն վստահ եմ, որ մեր աշխատակիցներն անմեղ են»,-լրագրողներին հայտարարել Է Ալասանիան Թբիլիսիի միջազգային օդանավակայանում:
Ալասանիան հենց սկզբից Էլ չի կասկածել իր աշխատակիցների անմեղության վրա եւ բավական կտրուկ հայտարարություններ Է արել, մասնավորապես, այն մասին, որ պաշտպանական գերատեսչության դեմ իրականացվում Է «միտումնավոր գրոհ»՝ ուղղված եվրատլանտյան կառույցներին Վրաստանի ինտեգրացումը վիժեցնելուն: Վարչապետ Իրակլի Ղարիբաշվիլին անհեթեթ Է որակել Ալասանիայի պնդումները, հայտարարել, որ թույլ չի տա գերատեսչության քաղաքականացում եւ պաշտպանության նոր նախարար Է նշանակել:
Վրաստանի գլխավոր դատախազությունը երեք քրեական գործ Է վարում պաշտպանության նախարարության պաշտոնյաների դեմ, որոնք վերաբերում են մոտավորապես 2,3 մլն դոլարի չափով պետական միջոցների վատնմանը հօգուտ Silknet հեռահաղորդակցական ընկերության, զինծառայողների զանգվածային սննդային թունավորմանը 2013 թվականին եւ պետական միջոցների վատնմանը՝ կապված շենքերից մեկի վերակառուցման հետ:
