Սուրբ Աթոռի պետությունների հետ հարաբերությունների քարտուղար Փոլ Ռիչարդ Գալագերը Հայաստան կատարած  պաշտոնական այցի շրջանակներում նոյեմբեր 10-ին Գյումրիում էր: Փոլ Ռիչարդ  Գալագերը Գյումրիում հանդիպում ունեցավ հայ կաթողիկե համայնքի ներկայացուցիչների հետ, մասնակցեց Հայ Կաթողիկե Սրբոց Նահատակաց Աթոռանիստ Եկեղեցում  ձեռամբ Հայաստանի, Վրաստանի, Ռուսաստանի և Արևելյան Եվրոպայի հայ կաթողիկեների առաջնորդ Արհ. Տ. Ռաֆայել Արք. Մինասյանի  մատուցած  սուրբ պատարագին:

Պատարագը մատուցվեց համապատարագությամբ Արհիապատիվ Փոլ Ռիչարդ Գալագերի և  Պապական Նվիրակ՝ Արքեպիսկոպոս Խոսե Բեթենկուրի: Պատարագին ներկա էին նաև հայ կաթողիկե  թեմի քահանաներ, վարդապետներ:

Պատարագի ավարտին հայ կաթողիկե համայնքի անունից, ողջունելով Սուրբ Աթոռի պետությունների հետ հարաբերությունների քարտուղար Փոլ Ռիչարդ Գալագերի այցը Գյումրի, Արհ. Տ. Ռաֆայել Արք. Մինասյանը նշեց, որ  սա լավ առիթ  է ամբողջ կաթողիկե համայնքի համար՝ լսելու հայրական խոսքը:

Մեկնելով պատարագին ներկայացված Սաղմոսաց գրքի ներկայացված հատվածը՝ Արհիապատիվ Գալագերը նշեց. «Լսելով այս խոսքերը՝ մեր սրտում մղում ենք զգում ուժգին կերպով ապրելու  Փրկչի հետ մեր հանդիպումը, որն իր գագաթնակետին հասնում է Սուրբ Պատարագի ծիսակատարության ժամանակ, այս պահն է, որի ընթացքում պետք է որդիական ապավինով հանձնվենք մեր  Աստծոն, բայց դրա  համար պետք է կառուցենք հիմք…Վատիկանում՝ Պապական պալատների սրահներից մեկում՝ պատին, գրված է «Հավատքով և Աստծո հանդեպ վստահությամբ մարդը ոչնչից չի վախենում և ոչ մի բան չի խոչընդոտում իր ճանապարհին, մինչդեռ մի հավատացյալ մարդ՝ առյուծի քաջությամբ է դիմագրավում դժվարին խոչընդոտներով լի իրականությունները»: Այս խոսքերը, կարծում եմ, շատ լավ են հարմարվում հայ ժողովրդին, որը դարերի ընթացքում  քաջությամբ ու վճռականությամբ դիմագրավել է բազմաթիվ տառապանքներ ու փորձություններ»:

 

Անդրադառնալով Հայաստան կատարած իր այցին՝ Սուրբ Աթոռի պետությունների հետ հարաբերությունների քարտուղարը  փոխանցեց Հռոմի Ֆրանցիսկոս Պապի ողջույնը նշելով. «Նա ինձ  խնդրեց փոխանցել ձեզ, որ աղոթում է ձեր համար, նաև ի հիշատակ ու ի շարունակություն 2016  թվականին Հայաստան կատարած  իր ճամփորդության և հատկապես ի հիշատակ այն Սուրբ պատարագի, որ նա  այստեղ՝  Գյումրիում, մատուցեց: Սրբազան քահանայապետը, ինչպես հաճախ կրկնում է իր առաքելական կոնդակներում, ձեզանից յուրաքանչյուրին քաջալերում է մասնակցել Ավետարանի շնորհին՝ ուրախությամբ, բերկրանքի մեջ, սրտի մղումով ու Տիրոջ հանդեպ վստահությամբ, որ ապրում ենք ամեն օր: Նա ինձ խնդրել  է ներկաներիդ ու ձեր սիրելիներին փոխանցել իր օրհնությունը՝  բոլորիդ հանձնելով սուրբ կույս Մարիամի բարեխոսությանը»:

Ավարտին համայնքի անունից և ի հիշատակ Գյումրի կատարած այցի, Արհ. Տ. Ռաֆայել Արք Մինասյանը Արհիապատիվ Փոլ Ռիչարդ Գալագերին նվիրեց խորհրդանշական սկիհ:
