Ն.Ս.Օ.Տ.Տ. Գարեգին Երկրորդ Ծայրագույն Պատրիարք եւ Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածնում հյուրընկալել է պաշտոնական այցով Հայաստան ժամանած Հորդանանի Հաշիմյան Թագավորության թագավոր Նորին Մեծություն Աբդալլահ Երկրորդ Իբն Ալ-Հուսեյն Ալ-Հաշիմիին: Այս մասին տեղեկացնում է Մայր Աթոռի տեղեկատվական ծառայությունը:

Ողջունելով Հորդանանի թագավորի այցը Հայաստան եւ Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածին` Նորին Սրբությունը հույս է հայտնել, որ այս այցելությունն առավել կզորացնի երկու երկրների միջեւ հարաբերությունները՝ մեծապես նպաստելով հետագա սերտ գործակցությանը:

Զրույցի ընթացքում Հայոց Հովվապետը գոհունակությամբ է արձանագրել, որ ցեղասպանություն վերապրած հայ ժողովրդի զավակները կարողացել են վերագտնել իրենց բնականոն կյանքը Հորդանանում՝ գալիքի հանդեպ հույսով ու լավատեսությամբ իրենց օգտաշատ ներդրումը բերելով երկրի առաջընթացին:

Անդրադառնալով պատմական հանգամանքների բերումով ձեւավորված հայկական մեծ սփյուռքի եւ զանազան մշակույթների ու կրոնների կողքին ապրելու իրողությանը՝ Նորին Սրբությունը մեծապես կարեւորել է նաեւ սերտ համագործակցությունը տարբեր երկրների հոգեւոր առաջնորդների միջեւ՝ կրոնական զգացումների չարաշահումներից, այդ հիմքով հակամարտություններից եւ անհանդուրժողականության դրսեւորումներից հասարակությունները զերծ պահելու համար: Այս տեսանկյունից Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը նկատել է, որ Հայաստանի եւ Հորդանանի միջեւ հարաբերությունները եւ Հորդանանի հայ համայնքի կյանքը կարող են եղբայրության եւ խաղաղ համակեցության լավագույն օրինակը լինել շատ ազգերի համար՝ քրիստոնեություն-իսլամ եւ այլ միջկրոնական հարաբերությունների կառուցման գործում:

Իր հերթին Նորին Վսեմություն թագավոր Աբդալլահ Երկրորդն ուրախություն է հայտնել հանդիպման առիթով՝ խոսելով մասնավորաբար քրիստոնյա ու իսլամ ժողովուրդների փոխհարաբերությունների եւ այդ առնչությամբ իր նախնիների դավանած համոզումների մասին։   

Անդրադառնալով հայ համայնքի կարեւոր դերակատարությանը Հորդանանում եւ Մերձավոր Արեւելքի երկրներում՝ թագավոր Աբդալլահ Երկրորդը հույս է հայտնել, որ Հայաստանի հետ կապերի զարգացմամբ կզորանա նաեւ Հորդանանի հայ համայնքը։ Հորդանանի թագավորը վերահաստատել է նաեւ իր պատրաստակամությունը՝ շարունակելու զորակցությունը Հայոց Եկեղեցուն եւ Երուսաղեմի Հայոց Պատրիարքությանը։

Թագավոր Աբդալլահ Երկրորդը նաեւ մտահոգությամբ է խոսել Մերձավոր Արեւելքում տիրող իրավիճակի, քրիստոնեական ներկայության նվազման խնդրի եւ մասնավորապես, Սիրիայում հայկական համայնքի մասին՝ պատրաստակամություն հայտնել ցուցաբերելու անհրաժեշտ զորակցություն հայկական քրիստոնեական ներկայության պահպանման ուղղությամբ։

Վերջում Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը Հորդանանի թագավորին բարեմաղթել է արդյունավոր գահակալություն՝ ի փառս Հորդանանի Հաշիմյան Թագավորության առաջընթացի եւ Հորդանանի ժողովրդի բարօրության:
