Կառավարության այսօրվա նիստի ժամանակ վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն անդրադառնալով համաշխարհային համաճարակի պատճառով ստեղծված իրավճակիև դրա հետևանքներին նշնեց, որ կառավարությունն իր առջև ամենևին էլ նպատակ չի դրել վերականգնել նախաճգնաժամային տնտեսական վիճակը, որքան էլ որ այն լավը լինի:

Կառավարությունն իր առջև խնդիր է դրել շատ ավելի մեծ ամբիցիաներով առաջնորդվել, ետճգնաժամային վիճակում դիրքավորվելիս, որից էլ բխում է իշխանությունների գործողությունների տրամաբանությունը:

Կառավարության ղեկավարի խոսքով այս ընթացքում հակավոր է կյանքի կոչել զարգացման ծրագրեր, որոնք կունենան զարգացման տրամաբանություն, որին էլ կաջակցի կառավարությունը: Ու թեև պարզ է, որ իրավիճակով պայմանավորված տնտեսական ճգնաժամը նաև սոցիալական լարվածություն է առաջացնելու, սակայն, հարկավոր է առերեսվել իրականության հետ և համարժեք քայլեր ձեռնարկել սոցիալական խնդիրները լչեզոքացնելու կամ մեղմելու համար:

Կառավարության ղեկավարը կարևորում է, որ սոցիալական ծրագրերը լինեն արդյունավետ, հասցեական և արդար: Եվ չի կարելի կրկնել նախկին սխալները, երբ սոցիալական օգնությունները կենտրոնանում էին մի քանի տեղերում և այդ ստվերի տակ ստվերային հարստացման երևույթներ էին տեղի ունեցել:

Վարչապետը նշեց նաև, որ բոլոր գրոծողությունների հիմքում պետք է լինեն ոչ թե տնտեսությանը հումանիտար օգնություն ցուցաբերելը, այլ տնտեսության մրցունակությունը բարձրացնելը և որևէ ծրագիր, որը դա չի անելու, իրենց համար հետաքաքրքիր չպետք է լինի:

«Ես ամեն օր նամակներ եմ ստանում խուճապային բովանդակությամբ: Կառավարությունը էմոցիոնալ, չհաշվարկված որոշումներ չի կայացնելու:  Հիմա զարգացման ռազմավարություններ մեկնարկելու ամենահարմար պահն է Հայաստանի Հանրապետության համար, քանի որ աշխարհը վերափոխվում է, հին աշխարհը քանդվում է, և մենք նոր աշխարհում պետք է հանդես գանք նոր ուժով, նոր իմիջով»,- ասաց նա:
