Կալիֆորնիա նահանգում կորոնավիրուսով վարակվածների թիվն արդեն կարող է գերազանցել 10 հազարը, նրանց թվում կան նաեւ հայեր: Այս մասին NEWS.am-ի թղթակցին տված հարցազրույցում հայտարարել է Լոս Անջելեսի հայ համայնքի ներկայացուցիչ, մասնավոր դպրոցում ֆիզիկայի ուսուցիչ Ջեմա Հարությունյանը:

Ըստ նրա` իրեն հայտնի է մարտի վերջին Լոս Անջելեսում մահացած միայն մեկ հայի մասին, ում մոտ կորոնավիրուս էր ախտորոշվել:

«Մարդիկ ամբողջ օրը նստում են տանը եւ գրեթե ոչ մի տեղ չեն գնում: Տեղաշարժման սահմանափակումներ են հայտարարվել: Աշխատանքի թույլատրվում է գնալ միայն պետական ծառայողներին եւ բուժաշխատողներին, թույլատրվում է նաեւ որոշ խանութների աշխատանքը, որոնք այցելելիս հարկավոր է երկու մետր սոցիալական հեռավորություն պահպանել, դիմակներ եւ ձեռնոց կրելը պարտադիր է: Տնից դուրս գալիս հարկավոր է փաստաթղթեր ունենալ: Այս նորմերին հետեւելը խիստ վերահսկվում է»,- ասել է նա:

Հարությունյանը պարզաբանել է, որ սահմանափակումներն ուժի մեջ են արդեն 3 շաբաթ եւ երկարաձգվել են եւս մեկ ամսով: «Այս իրավիճակը կշարունակվի առնվազն մինչեւ ապրիլի վերջ, բայց սահմանափակումները կարող են կրկին երկարաձգվել: Բոլոր դպրոցները փակ են, գարնանային արձակուրդներ են հայտարարվել: Իսկ կրթության համակարգն անցել է հեռավար ռեժիմի: Ինչ վերաբերում է պետության աջակցությանը, ապա այն ինչ-որ չափով կարող է լինել, բայց մարդիկ հիմնականում իրենք իրենց են ապավինում են: Աշխատողների աշխատավարձերը դեռ պահպանվում են, բայց ոչ ոք չգիտի, թե ինչ է լինելու»,- շեշտել է  Ջեմա Հարությունյանը:

Հարությունյանը հավելել է, որ մարդկանց, անշուշտ, վախեցնում է մահացության մակարդակը երկրում: « Սկզբում բնակչությունն ակտիվորեն սնունդ էր գնում սուպերմարկետներից, սակայն այժմ այդ իմաստով իրավիճակը կայունացել է: Ինչ վերաբերում է նահանգում հիվանդանոցներում տեղերի հնարավոր պակասին, ապա այդպիսի բան դեռ չի նկատվում»,- եզրափակել է նա:

Նշենք, որ, ըստ ԶԼՄ-ների տեղեկությունների, մարտին Լոս Անջելեսում կորոնավիրուսով վարակված 34-ամյա հայ տղամարդ էր մահացել: Վերջին տեղեկությունների համաձայն՝ ԱՄՆ-ում դեպքերի թիվն աճել է` հասնելով 277 522-ի, մահացել է 7403 հիվանդ:
