1915 թվականը պատկերավոր ասած մի մեծ «լաքա» էր մեր ժողովրդի պատմության մեջ, վախենամ, որ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը մի նույնպիսի «լաքա» է։ Այս մասին Արմնյուս ՀԸ Անժելա Թովմասյանի «Հայելու առաջ» հեղինակային ծրագրի ժամանակ հայտարարել է Արցախի հերոս, գեներալ Վիտալի Բալասանյանը։

«Ազգանունը յան-ով վերջանալը դեռ չի նշանակում, որ նրանք հայերի շահերն են պաշտպանում, դիպլոմ ունենալը կամ պաշտոնն էլ չն նշանակում, թե անձը պետականամետ է։ Այսօր մենք դատում ենք ոչ թե Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանին, այլ հայ ժողովրդին։ Ինչպե՞ս կարող էինք մենք այսօր դատարանի առաջ կանգնեցնել Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանին, Սեյրան Օհանյանին։ Ես վստահ եմ, որ ժողովուրդը շատ շուտով կանգնելու է Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանի կողքին։ Վստահ եմ՝ արդարությունը հաղթելու է։ Ազգը խելքի է գալու», ասել է Վիտալի Բալասանյանը։

Արցախի հերոսը վստահեցնում է՝ փուլային տարբերակի կարգավորմանը գնալու դեպքում Արցախն ու համայն հայությունը ոտքի են կանգնելու։ Ըստ նրա՝ այս իշխանությունը չգիտի՝ Արցախի ազատագրման համար որքան քրտինք ու արյուն են թափել հերոսները, իսկ իրենք արժեզրկում են հերոսներին։

Հարցին՝ ի՞նչ դերակատարում է ունեցել ՀՀ երկրորդ նախագահ Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանն Արցախի կազմավորման ու հաղթանակների հարցում, Վիտալի Բալասանյանը նշել է․ «Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանի նախագահության ժամանակ Արցախն առաջին անգամ ունեցել է հանրապետության ստատուս։ Ցույց տվեք մի երկիր, որը պատերազմական գործողությունների ժամանակ զրոյից կարողացել է անցնել հակահարձակման, լռեցնել բոլոր կրակակետերն ու հասնել հաղթանակի»։

Վիտալի Բալասանյանը հիշեցրել է նաև՝ ինչպիսի երկիր իրենից հետո թողեց ՀՀ առաջին նախագահ Լևոն Տեր-Պետրոսյանն ու ինչ դերակատարում ունեցավ Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանը՝ Հայաստանի ռազմաքաղաքական գործիչների խնդրանքով ստանձնելով ՀՀ նախագահի պաշտոնը։

Արցախի հերոսն ասել է, որ ժամանակին գնահատական տվել է, թե ինչպես «Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը եկավ իշխանության, ինչ պրոեկտ է սա, Արցախի շուրջ դավադրությունների մասին եմ խոսել ու անդրադարձել «վերելակային դիվանագիտությանը», և այսօր ամեն ինչ կամաց-կամաց բացահայտվում է»։

Ըստ Վիտալի Բլաասանյանի՝ իր ունեցած տեղեկությունը հավաստի է, հարյուր տոկոսանոց․ «Ես անցած տարի մայիսի 9-ին ասացի՝ վերելակային դիվանագիտությամբ զբաղվում է Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը։ Եղել է պայմանավորվածություն, որտեղ ամենակարևորը եղել է այն, որ Փաշինյանը զերծ մնաց «Սանկտ-Պետերբուրգ-Վիեննա-Ժնև» պայմանավորվածությունից»։

«Հայ ժողովրդի թիկունքում թաքուն բանակցություններ են ընթանում։ Առաջին օրվանից ասել եմ՝ կա դավադրություն։ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն ասում էր՝ կան դավադիր ուժեր։ Դավադիր ուժը Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն է։ Լավրովը ի լուր աշխարհի բացահայտեց ճշմարտությունը», ասել է նա։

Վիտալի Բալասանյանը պնդում է՝ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը ստում է․

«Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը Հայաստանը ներքաշել է վտանգավոր խաղերի մեջ։ Նա չի տիրապետում արտաքին հարաբերության որևէ հարցի։ Որպեսզի մենք փուլային փաթեթից զերծ մնանք, Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն ու իր թիմը պետք է հրաժարական տան»։
