Կարեն Կարապետյանը պաշտոնավարել է 2016 թվականի հոկտեմբերից և նրան տրվել են այնպիսի հարցեր, որոնք առնչվել են այն ժամանակ իր կողմից արված հայտարարությանը, որը վերաբերվում էր թիկունքային ծառայությանը, ինչպես նաև մի ամբողջ հարցերի փաթեթ, թե ինչ աշխատանքներ են կատարվել իր ղեկավարության ժամանակ 2016-18 թվականներին։ Այս մասին այսօր ԱԺ-ում լրագրողների հետ զրույցում ասաց Ապրիլյան քննիչ հանձնաժողովի նախագահ Անդրանիկ Քոչարյանն՝ անդրադառնալով նրան, թե ինչ հարցերի է պատասխանել հանձնաժողովի նիստին հրավիրված նախկին վարչապետ Կարեն Կարապետյանը։ 

«Մենք ստացել ենք հարցերի պատասխաններն այնքանով, որքանով Կարապետյանը պատասխանեց մեր կողմից հնչեցված հարցերին»,- ասաց Քոչարյանը:

Հարցին, թե արդյոք Կարապետյանը պնդեց այն հայտարարությունը, թե անորակ վառելիքի պատճառով սպառազինությունները չեն աշխատել, Քոչարյանը պատասխանեց․«Պարոն Կարապետյանը հանձնաժողովի փակ նիստում տվեց մեզ հետաքրքրող հարցի պատասխանը»։
