«Ժողովուրդ» թերթը գրում է․ «Լուրեր են պտտվում, որ Ռազմական ոստիկանությունում մեծ աղմուկ է հասունանում: Բանն այն է, որ Ռազմական ոստիկանապետի գործողությունները ոստիկանությունում մեծ դժգոհություների տեղիք են տալիս: ՌՈ Պետի ժամանակավոր պաշտոնակատար Ալեքսանդր Աղաջանյանն ազատվում է Ռազմական ոստիկանության հին կադրերից եւ ՌՈ է ընդունում նոր կադրեր, եւ այդ նոր անձանց, ըստ լուրերի, հենց այնպես չեն ընդունում աշխատանքի, այլ կլորիկ գումարի դիմաց են դա անում:

«Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթը տեղեկությունը պարզելու համար դիմեց ՊՆ լրատվական բաժին, ինչին ի պատասխան՝ պաշտպանության նախարարի մամուլի խոսնակ Շուշան Ստեփանյանը հայտնեց. «Գնդապետ Աղաջանյանը պաշտոնավարման ընթացքում ՌՈ-ից ոչ մեկին չի հեռացրել, սակայն ժողովների ընթացքում հայտարարել է, որ եթե սահմանված պահանջների կատարման ընթացքում թերացողներ լինեն, օրենքով սահմանված կարգով տույժ կկիրառվի, կարծում եմ` նման մեղադրանքները ճնշում գործադրելու փորձեր են ՌՈ-ում իրականացվող բարեփոխումների ընթացքի վրա, իսկ եթե փաստեր կան, թող հաղորդում տան»:

«Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթը բազմիցս է անդրադարձել ՌՈ-ում տիրող իրավիճակին եւ Ալեքսանդր Աղաջանյանի նշանակումից հետո տիրող իրավիճակին: Գրել էինք նաեւ, որ Ալեքսանդր Աղաջանյանը Ռազմական ոստիկանությունում հայտնվել է Դավիթ Տոնոյանի շնորհիվ»:
