Երեկ գիշերն անցել է համեմատաբար հանգիստ: Սահմանագոտու տարբեր հատվածներում եղել է մոտ 137 կրակոց:Տավուշի տարբեր գյուղերի ուղղությամբ տեղակայված մարտական դիրքերում եղել են կրակոցներ՝ հիմնականում անկանոն, որոնց մեծ մասին ՀՀ զինված ուժերը պատասխան կրակ չեն վարել: Եղել են նաև բանակային այլ կորպուսների և մարզերի ուղղությամբ կրակոցներ՝ մասնավորապես Ճամբարակի ուղղությամբ:

Օգտագործվել է ավտոմատ նռնականետ, դիպուկ կրակոցներին մեր զինված ուժերը պատասխանել են թիրախային դիպուկ կրակով և արդյունքում լռեցրել:

3-րդ բանակային միավորման մեր ժամկետային զինծառայողները, որոնք ներգրավված էլ չեն մարտական գործողություններին, կամավոր դիմումներ են գրել վերադաս հրամանատարությանը՝ ցուցաբերելով բարձր պատրաստակամություն, որ խնդրում են դադարեցնել իրենց զորացրումները, քանի դեռ հակառակորդը վերջնականապես չի լռեցվել:
