«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է

Ցանկացած երկրում չափազանց կարևոր է, որ բանակը կայացած, բացառապես պրոֆեսիոնալ մարմին լինի, որպեսզի կարողանա լիարժեք իրականացնել իր գործառույթները և թշնամու ցանկացած ոտնձգության պարագայում պաշտպանի երկրի սահմանները:

Եվ փառք Աստծո, որ հայկական բանակն այդպիսին է՝ անցած երեսուն տարիներին ամբողջապես կայացած՝ անկախ ներքաղաքական գործընթացներից: Փորձագետների համոզմամբ, պատմությունը ցույց է տալիս, որ հակառակ պարագայում մեծ է լինում քաղաքական իշխանությունների գայթակղությունը՝ սեփականաշնորհել, քաղաքականացնել, անձնավորել հաղթանակները: 

Ավելին, որքան էլ ցավալի է, բանակի հետ որևէ աղերս չունեցող առանձին գործիչներ բանակի հաշվին երբեմն փորձում են քաղաքական կամ անձնական դիվիդենտներ հավաքել: Այնինչ, ոչ մի քաղաքական ուժ, ներառյալ և առաջին հերթին իշխանությունը, իրավունք չունի քաղաքական դիվիդենտներ փնտրել և առավել ևս քաղել բանակի արձանագրած փայլուն արդյունքներից։

Սակայն, ի պատիվ ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարար Դավիթ Տոնոյանի, պետք է նշել, որ նրան հաջողվել է նման շահարկումներից, քարոզչությունից բանակը զերծ պահել, խուսափել հաջողությունը բացառապես «նոր Հայաստանի» իրողությունների կամ մեկ անձի հետ ասոցացնելու հավանական փորձերից կամ «ջանքերից»: 

Պատասխանատվությունն ամբողջովին բանակի վրա է, իսկ մեր բանակը լիարժեք կայացած է, ամուր ու հզոր: Եվ նախարարի պահվածքը չափազանց կարևոր է, քանզի որևէ պարագայում բանակին, զինվորին ու գեներալին նեղացնել պարզապես չի կարելի:
