Մահացել է բեմադրիչ, դերասան, բազմավաստակ մանկավարժ, պրոֆեսոր Ալեքսանդր Քոչարյանը:

Հայաստանի թատերական գործիչների միության «Ֆեյսբուքի» պաշտոնական էջում ասվում է, որ Քոչարյանը կյանքից հեռացել է հուլիսի 24-ին: Միությունը խորին ցավակցություն է հայտնում Քոչարյանի ընտանիքին, հարազատներին և գործընկերներին։

Ալեքսանդր Քոչարյանը ծնվել է 1938 թվականի օգոստոսի 14-ին Երևանում: Սովորել է Երևանի գեղարվեստաթատերական ինստիտուտի դերասանական բաժնում: Շուրջ հինգ տարի աշխատել է Կապանի շրջանային թատրոնում` որպես դերասան, որտեղ խաղացել է ավելի քան 20 գլխավոր և երկրորդական դերեր: Եղել է Երևանի գեղարվեստաթատերական ինստիտուտի թատերական ‎ֆակուլտետի դեկանը, 1986-1996 թվականներին՝ ուսումնագիտական գծով պրոռեկտորը: 1992-ից դասավանդել է Երևանի Խ. Աբովյանի անվան հայկական պետական մանկավարժական ինստիտուտում: Եղել է ինստիտուտի մասսայական հանդիսությունների ռեժիսուրայի և մշակութաբանության ամբիոնի վարիչը:

Բեմադրել է «Եկվորը Ռանգունից», «Լրտեսի հետքերով», «Թանկագին սեր» և այլ ներկայացումներ: Ստացել է արվեստագիտության թեկնածուի աստիճան, ռեժիսուրայի ամբիոնի դոցենտի կոչում: Հայաստանի թատերական գործիչների միության և նախագահության անդամ էր: 1981 թվականին արժանացել է Հայաստանի բուհի վաստակավոր գործչի կոչման:
