Ամերիկացի գիտնականները նանո-դեղամիջոց են մշակել, որն ուղղակիորեն ազդում է կրծքագեղձի քաղցկեղի բջիջների վրա՝ սպանելով դրանք առանց կողմնակի վնասակար ազդեցության: Հետազոտության արդյունքները հրապարակվել են Advanced Therapeutics ամսագրում: Արքանզասի համալսարանի գիտնականները՝ քիմիայի և կենսաքիմիայի ամբիոնի դոցենտ Հասան Բեյզավիի գլխավորությամբ, պնդում են, որ նյութը ոչնչացնում է կրծքագեղձի՝ 3 անգամ բացասական քաղցկեղի բջիջները և արդյունավետորեն ազդում ամենաագրեսիվ և չարորակ ուռուցքների վրա: Միշտ չէ, որ քիմիաթերապիան օգնում է, քանի որ այս քաղցկեղի մետաստազները շատ արագ են տարածվում և հաճախ վիրահատություն է պահանջվում։
