Թուրքիան պատրաստվում է ռազմածովային բազա հիմնել Լիբիայի հյուսիս-արևմտյան Միսրատա քաղաքում: Այս մասին հայտնում է «Defence Turk» լրատվականը:

Ըստ աղբյուրի Լիբիայում Թուրքիայի  պաշտպանության նախարար Հուլուսի Աքարի, ԳՇ պետ Յաշար Գյուլերի, Կատարի փոխվարչապետ և պաշտպանության նախարար Հաիդ բին Մուհամմադ ալ-Աթիյեի և Լիբիայի պաշտպանության փոխնախարար Սելահադդին ան-Նեմրուշի մասնակցությամբ կայացած հանդիպմանը ռազմական համագործակցության շուրջ մի շարք համաձայնագրեր են ստորագրվել:

Նշվում է, որ հիշյալ համաձայնագրերի շրջանակում հիմնվելիք ռազմաուսումնական  կենտրոնները ֆինանսավորվելու են Կատարի կողմից: Մյուս կողմից Միսրատայում հիմնվելու է եռակողմ համակարգման կենտրոն: Համաձայնագրի շրջանակում Թուրքիան էլ Միսրատայում հիմնելու է ռազմածովային բազա:

Աղբյուրի հաղորդմամբ` Թուրքիայի բարձրաստիճան պաշտոնյանները ռազմաբազա հիմնելու վերաբերյալ որևէ պաշտոնական հաղորդագրություն չեն հրապարակել:

Բացի այդ, Թուրքիայի աջակցությունը վայելող Լիբիայի «Ազգային համաձայնության կառավարությունը» հայտնել է, որ  հյուսիս-արևմուտքում գտնվող «Վատայիե» ավիաբազան  նույնպես  կհանձնվի  Թուրքիայի շահագործմանը:

Նաև հաղորդվում է, որ այս ռազմաբազաներում կտեղակայվեն այնպիսի զինված անօդաչու թռչող սարքեր և ՀՕՊ համակարգեր, որոնք  կիրառվել են Լիբիայի «Ազգային բանակի» դեմ ռազմական գործողությունների ընթացքում:

Հիշեցնենք, որ Թուրքիան աջակցում է ՄԱԿ-ի կողմից ճանաչված Լիբիայի Ազգային համաձայնության կառավարությանը, իսկ արաբական երկրներից Սաուդիան Արաբիան, Եգիպտոսը, Արաբական Միացյալ Էմիրությունները` գեներալ Խալիֆա Հաֆթարի գլխավորած Լիբիայի ազգային բանակին:

2011-ին Լիբիայի առաջնորդ Մուամար Քադաֆիի սպանությունից հետո երկիրը դադարել էր լինել մեկ պետություն: Այժմ Լիբիայում տիրում է երկիշխանություն: Ժողովրդի կողմից ընտրված խորհրդարանն արևելքում է, իսկ արևմուտքում՝ մայրաքաղաք Տրիպոլիում, ՄԱԿ-ի և ԵՄ-ի աջակցությամբ ձևավորված կառավարությունը, որը ղեկավարում է Ֆայեզ Սարաջը: Երկրի արևելյան մասի իշխանությունները գործում են անկախ Տրիպոլիից և համագործակցում Հաֆթարի հետ:
