Ատոմային ոլորտը 75 տարեկան է

1945 թվականի օգոստոսի 20-ը դարձել է խորհրդային ատոմային արդյունաբերության պատմության մեկնարկային կետը, որից իր սկիզբն է վերցնում նաև Հայաստանի միջուկային ոլորտը։ Այդ օրը ԽՍՀՄ «միջուկային նախագծերի» աշխատանքները ղեկավարելու նպատակով պաշտպանության Պետական կոմիտեին կից ստեղծվել է հատուկ կոմիտե, ինչպես նաև Առաջին գլխավոր վարչությունը՝  ԽՍՀՄ ժողովրդական կոմիսարների Խորհրդին կից։

Այդ ժամանակներից ատոմային ոլորտի մասնագետները ապահովում են էներգիայով քաղաքներ, զարգացնում գիտությունը և նոր տեխնոլոգիաները։ Երկար տարիներ ոլորտը եղել է ամենափակ ճյուղերից, և նույնիսկ խաղաղ նվաճումների մասին ընդունված չէր խոսել։ Մարդկանց մեծամասնությունը չի էլ  մտածում, որ այսօր մեզ հասանելի շատ տեխնոլոգիաներ և լուծումներ՝ բժշկական ախտորոշիչ սարքավորումներից մինչև անվտանգության համակարգեր, մշակվել և պատրաստվել են ատոմային արդյունաբերության ձեռնարկություններում։

Հայաստանն ունի հարուստ ատոմային պատնություն։ 1976 թվականից երկրում գործում է ԱԷԿ-ը։ Հայկական ԱԷԿ-ի շինարարությունը՝ խորհրդային ատոմագործների եզակի տեխնոլոգիական լուծում էր, քանի որ նախկինում սեյսմիկ գոտիներում ատոմակայան չեն կառուցել․ մշակվել է սեյսմակայուն ռեակտորային կայանը, նախագծվել են աշխարհում ամենաբարձրներից հովացման աշտարակներ, զրոյից ստեղծվել են նորմատիվային հիմքերը։ Հայկական ԱԷԿ-ի օրինակով կառուցվել են ատոմակայաններ այլ երկրներում։

Հայկական ԱԷԿ-ը՝ միակն է տարածաշրջանում և ապահովում է երկրի էլեկտրաէներգիայի ավելի քան 30 տոկոսը։ Ներկայում երկարաձգվում է կայանի երկրորդ էներգաբլոկի շահագորժման ժամկետը։ Նախագիծն իրականացվում է «Ռոսատոմ» Պետկորպորացիայի հետ համատեղ և ուղղված է կայանի արդյունավետության և անվտանգության բարձրացմանը։

Ատոմային ոլորտի կայացման և զարգացման գարծում էական ներդրում են ունեցել հայ գիտնականներն ու մասնագետները։ Ատոմային արդյունաբերության 75-ամյակի շրջանակում Մոսկվայում կտեղադրվեն հուշատախտակներ՝ նվիրված ոլոտի գործիչներին, այդ թվում հայ գիտնական և պետական գործիչ, ատոմային էներգիայի օգտագործման ԽՍՀՄ Պետկոմիտեի նախագահ Անդրանիկ Մելքոնի Պետրոսյանցին։
